Hanging fire with this after the Sturridge debacle. It's far from ideal but better than I expected. Got him for 12 games.
-
With a bit of luck we’ll lose him as a midfield option but save a few hundred grand in the process. Fingers crossed.
-
Yet some of the press still write articles such as this.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5285557/Mike-Ashleys-mistakes-NOT-villain-here.html Couple of weeks old printed by the same paper that supported Hitler and the nazis. Solid.

Loss to nil. The entire club is on a major downer, no club does tailspins like Newcastle.
-
He could give them another 100 names, there’s no intention to sign anyone. He knows it but he’s making sure he’s publically doing his bit in providing targets for them to ignore and/or deliberately miss. When the shit hits (breaks) the fan tomorrow night he’s in the clear.
-
They could do with Mahrez like, bit short on attacking options.
-
It’s the only reason he was signed permanently in the Autumn tbh.

Genuinely don’t think this is incompetence mate. This is premeditated and deliberate over and above anything we’ve seen before. It’s like Dave said last night, it’s Ashley banking on the squad being just good enough, spending nothing, seeing the tv deal promise more money and asking for even more from PCP in the summer on the strength of no cash being spent. It’s fucking hideous, nefarious and exactly in keeping with the cunt’s persona. This is all down to him.
-
Cant wait to see Jim White’s dial at about 7 tomorrow night. Proper makes a transfer deadline day, much in the same way a pile of vomit outside the Indian makes a Friday night.
-
Of course it does. It’s not a coincidence. It’s to make the idiots who are a bit frustrated at the lack of signings appear grateful because we’ve not sold a few players. The “Could have been worse mate, at least we didn’t lose anyone” lot who grasp at any silver lining. It’s all part of the bullshit and spin. Takes some of the heat off and deflects people’s attention from the lack of new players by making them fear who we might sell.
-
Ashley offers 45p for his.
-
Probably Huddersfield just as another nice little “fuck you”
-
Fucking hell, bet he's rattled to bits by that scathing headline. I say the same type of thing when the bairn's taking too long to eat his tea ffs.
-
Firmly believe that there would be a bigger party for this pernicious, stinking, fat cunt leaving than there would be for winning a cup.
-
They’re from last season but your point still stands like.
-
It's all over in reality. Just need the "Closed for business" guff which will come soon. Aye, plus there are matches tomorrow and then we play on Wednesday. So nothing's going to be possible anyway. “Closed” for business... We’ve had the shutters up, alarms and cctv on since New Year’s Eve. We were never open for business. We never had any intention of strengthening or spending. It’s just lie after lie after lie, 100% negligence.

Sturridge, Rondon, Rodriguez. Canny options even for that slimey cunt.
-
Farce would suggest that it's all gone wrong. On the contrary, from their point of view it couldn't have gone any better. No disquiet, no protests, no money spent and its all so deliberate and its worked out beautifully for them.

Nicolai Jorgensen to stay at Feyenoord

The two things are fine. You can question a player's potential quality and question why the club that presumably believes in his quality isn't willing to pay the asking price. Maybe they believe he is a 15m player not the 20m asked by Feyenoord? If he was a 15m player, why would Feyenoord not have sold him for that instead of asking for 25m? They told us to p*ss off and keep our 15m, actions speak louder than lies. Maybe they value him at 25m? Teams will have different opinions on a players value. If we knew they wanted say £12m, we would have bid £9m.....i really don't get how anyone can't see that shit for what it is now. Remember when we used to read about how furious the owners of all of these selling clubs would be when we were trying to buy their player? We used to have a pop at them for moving the goalposts and pissing about but it was us all along. We’re an absolute shambles off the pitch, lacking ambition, class and integrity. They deserve all the shit they’re going to get, 3 relegations in 9 years and the penny still hasn’t dropped for some. -

Shit anyway. -
The window's been open for over 4 weeks now, if this was one of the targets then it should have been done ages ago. Can't fault West Brom, he's still available to loan and they've got the deal done and his goals could quite easily keep them up at the expense of us. This shitstorm is 100% down to Ashley, Barnes and Charnley. As ever.
-
Bet we're haggling over the loan fee. We'll have offered to pay £1.35m or something daft like that.
-
Me? Yeah. Fair enough. Your initial description was the MOTD take on it and we might have predicted 3-0 when it came out of the bag. I didn’t see it but felt encouraged by the radio commentary; early on, it made it sound quite the opposite of the predicable rout. We tried and had a reasonable go at them but they were always in control and just played it out. They never needed to get out of first gear and were comfortable really. Both teams simply went through the motions from the second the second goal went in. The second half was like a testimonial.

Me? Yeah.
