If he gets 20+ he (and we) will have had an excellent season. He's capable of getting more obviously but not many players will get more than 20 in the league. I also expect him to fill his fucking boots against the dross in the Europa League mind.

Let me rephrase it....in fact I'll just repeat the question: "have I got a second series"?
-
What is this 'prostate' you speak of?

Peterlee has a 'Northern Fried Chicken' if you're interested like.

I can easily believe it, I liked his pace. Not the most gifted footballer I've ever seen but always gave 100%. Just one of those things. To be honest he's probably the best crosser we have, Sinclair runs inside all the time and Dyer tends to do short passes. It's nice to see all the usual suspects predicting relegation for us this year, if we replace Allen intelligently we'll have a stronger team than last year. Graham's looking likely to be scoring more this year. That's the name of the game tbh. Players come and go but the team has to come first. £15m for Allen plus a bit more for Sinclair (if he goes) has to be reinvested by Laudrup. No point having money in the bank from sales if the XI on the park is struggling.

I'm assuming that Routledge is out of the picture then?

Aye it would have been money well spent imo. Not in favour of doing it for every player, don't like being held to ransom or being shafted but for the extra million I'd have just paid it and brought him in on this occasion. The upgrade at RB justifies it imo. Each to their own though. I can also understand why the club are digging their heels in but I'd pay it.

Looks like a fucking dolphin. Plays football like one too by all accounts.
-
Good stuff. He'll get plenty of games this season, possibly in a couple of positions, but he'll be an asset from the little I've seen and heard. Looking forward to seeing him.
-
Yep. Expensive obviously but he's probably the best striker in the league. He's not going to play for buttons. Quality costs.
-
You'd expect to pay that for an adults shirt, yet it's like £50 just for that, no including name, number and delivery if you need it. Might wait a while, I honestly couldn't afford to spunk 70 notes on a football top reet now. Just checked on co.uk and the same kids shirt is £40 so I've actually saved a bit. Dear me.

Got the boy his replica kit today actually, £32 for a kid's shirt & shorts.

We know how it works just draw the balls you 4 eyed fucking spenk.

He's just flipping a negative into a positive. Good management tbh.

The screamers are the memorable bits though and they form the majority of the memories for some people about his time here. The mis-placed passes, the needless dribbles, the shots landing in the upper tier, being caught in possession umpteen times, running into blind alleys, taking important pens with his wrong foot, lack of intelligent movements all blend into the bigger, less remarkable, picture. Terrible footballer.
-
It was like playing with 10 men for most games tbh. The odd spectacular goal has managed to paper over a lot of his faults with some.
-
I think Obertan could be very useful in the European games this season when he might get a bit more time and space than he does in league games. He's more use to us than an extra couple of million in the bank.

What the holy fuck is an unemployed pensioner sacked from his previous job getting column inches for anyway? Fucking arsehole. Absolutely nothing to do with him any more. None of his fucking business and he's totally undermined the situation for Spurs and Modric. He just likes the sound of his own voice and is still desperate for the attention. Complete fucking cunt tbh.
-
Sometimes you've just got to bite the bullet and pay the money. It's not nice, it may be a bit of a blow to their egos but sometimes it's worth it in the long run. Had we been 4m apart then it's a no-brainer. A million quid apart? Just fucking pay it. Were already 4m up after banking 3 from Best and 2 from Forster. Bigi cost a million ffs.
-
I think it's the fact that the clubs are very close with their valuations on the player that's causing the frustration. We're talking about a million quid perhaps which, in the grand scheme of things, isn't that much really. I can totally understand why folk are wanting us to just cough that extra million up and get him signed as he'd be a massive upgrade on Simpson imo and that extra million quid would be well spent to get him in for the start of the season and integrated into things asap. Still think we'll get him but can see both sides of it.
-
Must admit I thought he'd be snapped up and we'd be in the shit, needing 2 strikers this summer. We just need the Ivory Coast to do us a favour and we're laughing. Pick up a 3rd choice central striker and we're set imo. When's the IC v Senegal play-off btw?

That's nearly 4 Cabaye's Or Cisse, Cabaye and Ba's agent.
