  1. I don't think he meant today, I might be wrong. You're not. People have differing opinions on the merits of players shocker!!!!!
  2. Pardew had played Taylor whenever he's been able to, he clearly thinks he's a good player. He's a below average Premiership CH. He's a League 2 RB. The fact he was hauled off is encouraging.
  3. Best, 6 in 9 Mentioned that in the pub after the game actually! Didn't go down particularly well with alex iirc....
  4. We looked as if we had 3 centre halfs and Simpson at right back for the first 10 minutes or so. Looked like a fish out of water from start to finish. Would rather have played the useless get up front and kept the back 4 intact. I know the options are limited due to injuries and suspensions but what possessed Pardew to go with that starting XI? Mental stuff - even for us.
  5. To be fair to him, he didn't pick himself. You're right he didn't. And I wish Pardew hadn't either. Still a rank display from him though.
  6. Harper did well today. That's about the only positive I can think of right now. We rely far too much on our better players because if we lose more than one of them for a length of time we look horrific. Our squad is piss poor.
  7. Was utter dogshit today. Spineless, thick, naive, arselicking bellend. Dreadful from start to his finish. Looked like someone dragged from the stands and given the rb shirt for a bet.
  8. A right back playing left back. A centre half playing right back and a striker playing right midfield. Fucking barmy man. What happened to square pegs in square holes? Trying to be too fucking clever, the arrogant bellwhiff. Really fucking annoyed.
  9. And pardew's got to take the lion's share of the blame. Fucking abysmal for all concerned. Taylor needs putting down.
  10. Fucking aaaawful that like. As bad as anything seen in the relegation season.
  11. Llambias didn't even have to open his gob. Raising/continuing the issue in the press just puts more pressure on us to spend the money. He should have just kept schtum - but how many times have we said that??
  12. If we can keep Arteta quiet then we've got a reasonable chance of winning. I'll go for a cheeky 2-1 home win. It'll definitely be tough though.
  13. Imagine that home Argie kit with black instead of sky blue. That's what our shirt could have been like. Fucking criminal. Haven't seen a nicer kit for a long time, having one of them.
  14. Not surprised they resort to that like. There team is weak as f*** in comparison to years gone by. Never want to see it but I've often wondered how they'd do in a 38 game Premiership season. I honestly think they'd struggle to stay up. they would struggle with their current team, but there is an argument that says that they would have loads coming in from world wide appeal and sponsorship to be able to spend enough to compete. can't see why we should let them in mind, may aswell let ajax and anderlecht in aswell. Begs the question as to why they're on the bones of their arse financially now though? They're still the same club. If they've got worldwide appeal then where's the cash? Or do you mean that playing in the Premier League raise their profile enough to compete? yes. there are times they aren't selling out their ground now, put them in the prem and they will sell out with raised prices, up their sponsorship deals and their money from abroad would go up due to more knackers wanting the latest gear. Gotcha.

  17. Really don't like Rangers. 3 reds and about another 6 booked. Pricks.
  18. It was in the run-up to France '98 and Shearer (allegedly) refused to play for England in the World Cup if the FA did him for it. Pretty shocking really.
  19. They'll probably just fucking buy it.
  20. it's crap if you compare it with his previous spell at Liverpool and Newcastle where he took over successful teams and guided them slowly downwards after starting well with teams other managers had built. Dalglish's Liverpool were a fantastic team. In fact a lot of Liverpool supporters claim he gave them their greatest ever team. That was with the players he bought as well. They were quality but it does help when you inherit one of the best squads in Europe from Fagan (and Paisley). It's a nice foundation to build on. He did build his own side though...the side he assembled for the 87-88 season was probably the best club side I've seen.Superb to watch too.Though I suppose it was easy to go after the likes of Pedro and Barnes. You've got to keep it going but taking over a squad like that with so many good players already at the club makes it much easier. It's too easy to keep most of the squad there and add (obvious) good players to it. It's not a miracle he's performed. He's used his common sense and eyes. It doesn't deserve that much praise tbh.
  21. Cahill out for 3 weeks (if not already mentioned) At this rate Moyes will be struggling to name a team by midnight.
  22. PREMIERSHIP RACE BLOWN OPEN!!!!!! Bookies: Arsenal in from 7/4 all the way down to 6/4.
