  1. I think the answer is pretty simple and it's that they just don't give a fuck. About anything. They know they were bought for the wrong reasons, they signed because of the money and they get to live in London for a few years and get paid millions of pounds for doing whatever they want. They're not attached to the club on any level, they don't give a fuck about Poch, Boehly, the fans or the club. They signed for themselves and only give a shit about themselves. They're the ultimate gang of mercenaries and it'll never work. It's beautiful in it's transparency, it's so obvious. It'll cripple the club completely with a bit of luck once the multi year contracts kick in, the wasters are moved on at huge losses and the gormless cunt at the top will be 100% to blame
  2. di Matteo had been there for about 6 weeks and won them the FA Cup and the CL in 2012
  3. Inclined to agree but with the clowns running that place you never know, the decisions that have been made down there in the last 18 months have been ridiculous, they're capable of anything. Wouldn't even rule out Mourinho until the end of the season, they're mental.
  4. Are Chelsea going to give Poch the LC Final as one last throw of the dice? Bin him the week before and go 100% with a new manager bounce for a pot?
  5. I think you can also add in the difficulty of fixtures too. When we got beaten down there it was like 'phew, thank fuck all of the difficult fixtures are out of the way, let's enjoy the easy fixtures'........they we get turned over. It just amps up the frustration, it doesn't excuse it but it does kind of explain it
  6. I've always regarded this place as a space to vent and get out most of my frustration of things tht aren't going exactly the way I want for my football team, it's not a 'real' place with 'real' people so it doesn't really matter what I or any other username says too much. It exists mainly in its own universe. Taking comments too seriously is a bit dangerous and absolutely not reflective of the fanbase as a whole, never was, probably never will be. That said I do think that there's a spectrum starting to evolve which has 'no criticism at all allowed' at one end and 'this is utter shit, change it all'. People posting at either end of this spectrum can be largely and easily ignored imo. The good discussion takes place where valid criticisms are debated and challenged and solutions are found to solve the problems. The Dan Burn one is a classic. He's becoming a weak link that opposition target so how does Howe fix it? Horses for courses? Stick with Tino? Got to a back 3 with wing backs? That's where the good stuff happens. Much of the other noise - just keep scrolling, dead easy. Some are looking for attention, others are just looking for a shield
  7. I've rewound it 3 times you absolute wankers, show it
  8. I'm all for constructive criticism when it's justified but to have a pop tonight after we've breezed into the 5th round with another clean sheet is bonkers like. Leading 2-0 away from home against another PL team is rarely iced and done until late on, plus they've had a fortnight off and would probably benefit from minutes in the legs. Sure some people just want to moan for the sake of it regardless of what happens
  9. It absolutely could be too soon for him, it would be a huge jump to go from leverkusen to Liverpool but it just feels like a great fit. It's just a hunch but I think it could easily click for him there but I really hope I'm wrong, I often am

    Boro (A) next week too
  11. Alonso will get it and I've got a feeling he'll be fucking fantastic much to my own annoyance

Beale will do well to cling on to his job if they get dicked at home today. Seems utterly toxic down there, the derby annihilation has just accelerated the inevitable downward spiral. Fans hate the manager, manager hates the fans, players hate the manager, fans now hate the owner, owner doesn't seem to give a fuck It's fucking brilliant
  13. Delighted he's going, he's an insufferable cunt. The love-in will be as tedious as it gets but it'll be worth it once he fucks off and I don't have to even think abut the angry, petulant smarmy cunt again. He's a piece of shit. Excellent football manager but an utter cunt of a human being and the PL will be better off without him and his toxic shit he brings to the touchline and his ridiculous flounces in his interviews. He can fuck clean off
  14. End Zone font is from 1683. 2/13 wnb
  15. Would have absolutely no problem with moving him on this window. He'd need to be replaced obviously but apart from a single 5 week spell in autumn '22 he's offered nothing other than running, chasing and energy. He's worked his bollocks off and I appreciate the effort he's put in but his quality is generally poor and he's ultimately not good enough for where we want to be. We need to move players on and this feels like the right time of there's decent money on the table for him. I'll wish him well but I'll not miss him to be brutally honest

    Kieran Trippier

Unless the fee is ridiculous then it's a bad deal for us. Bayern value him at maybe £10m ish but that's tiny to his value to us right now. We need him on and off the park to get through from now until the end of the season, the discrepancy between his 'worth' to Bayern compared to us is huge. we'd lose so much at such a critical time of a very important season, it's just not worth it. What's an extra £6m if you fall 2 places down the League as a result of weakening the team and squad and losing your captain

    Kieran Trippier

We're pretty much on the same page then. What the club decide to do and what I would do may not be the same and if they decide they want to cash in then it'll happen and we'll all just have to deal with it but it would be a mistake, just in my opinion We do need players in other areas but it's cutting your nose off eyes out to spite your face. Trippier is more than just a 33 year old RB in this squad and to this dressing room

    Kieran Trippier

Until we know we've replaced everything we'd lose by moving him on is the honest answer tbh The difference between £15m now and maybe £9m in the summer is negligible. The impact on the rest of the squad seeing Trippier moved on in a January window, in the middle of an injury crisis, to a German team for relative buttons would be huge imo. He's a leader and a role model to the rest of the squad and it sends out the wrong message. Again, just my opinion I know he'll move on eventually but not right now, he's still to valuable to us right now.

Totally agree, Tino has looked great. Still think we'd lose a lot of intangibles by moving him on right now. I'm sure Tino could start at RB and do really well but that would leave us short in other starting positions and cover too. At the end of the day he's a mint player (bit of a bad run admittedly) but exchanging all the positives he brings on and off the park for a relatively small amount of money just sees like bad business to me. I just don't get the desire to actively move him on right now. If it happens then it happens but I think we'll be significantly worse off for it

    Kieran Trippier

I get the fact he's 33 and will need to be moved n at some point but this window is absolutely not the right time. We're on the bones of our arse and it's felt like it's been held together with sellotape for the last few months. Selling one of the lynchpins of the entire squad both on and off the park for a poxy £15m or whatever seems like the worst deal going. It's nearly February, surely he can stay until May and see it out here? If he wants to move on and we can replace him with a bit of time to figure it all out then we absolutely should do that. If it was Almiron I'd drive him there myself. Tripps is a different kettle of fish completely, he stays until the moment to sell him benefits us rather than hinders us

    Kieran Trippier

How much of that would we need to spend on the player to replace everything he gives us?

    Kieran Trippier

Can't understand anyone actively wanting this to happen. Yes we could move him on and just about break even financially but money in the bank doesn't full the big game experience and professional standards gap in the dressing room. You'd be losing a (largely) brilliant player on the park who also offers calmness, experience and nous (in the middle of a huge injury crisis) in exchange for about £16m maybe? He's worth more to us than that. Fuck that. He can move in the summer if he wants the move that badly
  23. This season has been incredibly frustrating, we have (potentially) a fucking brilliant team with genuine options to bring off the bench but we've never been able to do that this at any point for various reasons. The injuries, and I hate to keep banging on about them as it sounds such a weak and pitiful excuse, but they've killed this season. Howe's had pretty much no options from one game to the next and we've suffered, he gets that pass. However, I'm absolutely pig sick of seeing 3 opposition players standing in the middle of the 13 yard trench that's between the back 4 and the midfield 5 when we drop into our formation. It became very obvious in Milan (A) and it's been there ever since. That gap has been there for months, it's been obvious and it's now getting exploited every single game. He needs to do something to stagger the midfield or let Schar into that zone as it's killing us every week. It's obtuse to watch it and not rectify or address it, fuck's sake change it up a bit. I hate losing but doing nothing about clear weaknesses and being done again and again isn't great management on any level.
