  1. Serious question - how much longer will Arsenal allow Arteta to go without winning a trophy before they bin him? I know he won the FA Cup in 2020 but I feel that seems like a very long time ago now
  2. 2/5 to finish top 5 with PP if anyone is interested. Bookies think it's highly likely, doesn't mean much in real life but it's a canny indicator
  3. Second half has been a complete non-event but I couldn't give a shit. We've coasted through this from the start, game won within a quarter of an hour and we've glided through it. Big players rested, clean sheet, +3 on the GD, no injuries (I think), no important cards. Job done. Not spectacular but I'm not interested in spectacular in April, I just want the points and don't give a shit how we get them
  4. This one's already over, the focus needs to move on to Sunday now and that means giving Isak, Joelinton and maybe Bruno at least the last 30 mins with their feet up and resting for the Man U game. It would be nice to get 2 or 3 more but then getting ready so they're all fresh for Sunday is arguably more important
  5. Howe should be pulling Isak off at HT (Then he can sub him too etc)
  6. One more then you can completely control the rest of the game, rest key men and already start thinking about Man U on Sunday
  7. I'm just very conscious of the fact we still need to go to Villa Park. Lost that one, and it's a distinct possibility considering how good they are, and it's 3 (theoretical) points wiped out in 90 mins. Still fancy us to do it but couldn't give a single shit whether it's 3rd, 4th or 5th. Makes literally no difference to me
  8. I think I'm more concerned with staying ahead of others rather than catching teams above us. I'd snap arms off at the shoulder for 5th right now
  9. This paints a pretty interesting picture for fat Ange 8 points out of 48 available from top half teams for example
  10. Forest suddenly look very catchable tbh. They've got the points on the board but a battering tonight and who knows how they'll react
  11. Have seen a few of his interviews and thought the guy interviewing him at the time has basically been goading him into a reaction. Really provocative questions to get him to boot off and it's been pretty obvious I've also seen him being an obnoxious, rude and disrespectful cunt tbph. In the middle of their slump he couldn't even look at the person interviewing him, mumbling the same old shit, moaning about the ref or the injuries and was coming across as an utter prick. His mask definitely slipped this season and I think he's way closer to being a cunt rather than being sound
  12. Accepted, he does need to look after it a bit better......but what a player though
  13. Really, really, really want CL but the consolation prize of EL still puts us in a fantastic position to go deep in that comp (loads of home games, bump up the ticket revenue etc) but it also gives us realistic shot at actually winning it too. Looking at the sides still left in this year and I'd make us one of the favourites to win it from here. Raises the profile of the club, another potential trophy and would lead to CL qualification too. CL is the genuine goal but there are also big benefits to the EL too, it wouldn't be the end of the world by any stretch
  14. Still find it astonishing more people didn't go 'A' on him last month. For shame
  15. This Spurs team should be so much better than this like. There's genuine talent there but it's just not being shown, I know they've had huge injuries but that's a good team on paper tonight but they look absolutely fucking shit on the park. There are fundamental issues at that club that run from the boardroom to the dressing room, they may be one of the Big 6 financially but they're just another mid table team where it matters
  16. Would be quite nice if they actually showed up for once and did us a bit of a favour. Problem being they roll over so easily away from home and they've got absolutely nothing to play for (domestically). They'll be going all in for the EL now, they'll fuck the league off completely - starting tonight probably* *launches reverse jinx

    sunderland

Is this lad one of their 'generational talents' or do they have more than one?
  18. Jesus, they're utter pigshit these days. Absolute dross
  19. Exactly. They've found and exploited loophole after loophole and it's all been waved through by the PL as 100% legit. The more ridiculous it sounds the more of a joke they appear to be. Not much different from a cynical side stopping attack after attack with tackles in the middle third and the ref allowing them to get on with it. At some point you have to say "well if they're always going to get away with it then why would they stop? No sanction at all, don't blame them"
