  1. You know what Chelsea need? Another 5 players costing another £200m. That'll fix it What they actually need is to chill the fuck out, allow football people to make key decisions on personnel and give a proven manager time to gel things together to get results. What's happening is like a toddler who's getting increasingly more distressed as they can't roll a double 6 in a game of monopoly. Just fucking buying everything on sale without any plan of what to do or strategy. Just rolling the dice constantly and being upset with every single thing. They're irritated, emotional and immature toddlers because they've bought everything and still aren't winning. They're fucking shit tbph
  2. 1-0 Wilson Qualify in 2nd place, fuck it, why not?
  3. Was a single Fulham corner away from landing an 11 leg 127/1 bet this afternoon. Beyond miffed like Fuckers scored 5, had 3 corners by HT and didn't get a single one in the second half the utter cretins
  4. It's been a sobering few days for everyone definitely, it's also given an opportunity for the utter arseholes to start pointing their fingers and throwing their toys about too. The levels of entitlement from, a thankfully small, minority have well and truly been triggered. They've taken less than 2 years to get used to winning regularly and making fantastic progress on and off the field and the first pocket of genuine poor form and they're losing their shit. Honestly thought that given what we achieved last season that Howe was bullet-proof this season regardless of what happens but I've read over the last few days is remarkable. I'm not saying that questions shouldn't be asked and he's beyond any/all criticism but the context of what's happening off the park is just being ignored by some. He's not perfect and I've not always agreed with everything he's done but he's so far away from any fan-pressure it's untrue in my eyes. He will turn it around and we will pick up points in the next few weeks. Form comes and goes and one thing we saw time and time again is that a bad run of form is normally followed by a consistent flow of goals and wins, it'll happen again, chin up folks
  5. Poor performance and no complaints about the result, it could have been even worse in hindsight. Not going to pile in on them too much but that first half was pathetic even allowing for the tiredness. Some of the 'football' we played at times was shocking. Really struggled with the basics of controlling and passing the fucking thing. Spurs pressed well and knocked it around well but that first half was as poor and passive as we've been for months. It will get better as we get more bodies back but I'm not sure what we'll still have left to play for other than the league by the end of January. It was always going to be a roller-coaster of a season and this is one of the dips. Need to look ahead and think about how huge the Milan game is for us now. No point dwelling on this or feeling sorry for ourselves, these games are the reward for their performances last season.
  6. Not sure what to for the next hour, watch the second half or take a razor-blade to my genitals? Tough choice
  7. Can't argue with this, scoreline is about right. We've just not been good enough again, back to back away games at Everton and spurs is a tough ask but we've barely laid a glove on either team tbh. Disappointing to say the least
  8. Hanging on here, need to just kill it for 5 mins but can't even keep the ball
  9. Taking 6/6 out of City and Arsenal rubberstamps them as being in the title race, let alone the race for CL. They're having an amazing season and deserve all the credit they're getting, not sure how deep they'll go but they're beating everyone at home and sturdy as fuck on the road. They're the real deal imo.
  10. He's fighting Tyson with one arm tied behind his back atm. We've literally got about 14 fit, senior players, what the fuck's he supposed to do? Any criticism of Howe is bang out of order at the minute. Yes he could have saved a few from running for an extra 9 minutes tonight or whatever but the big picture is looking good. We will get players back in time. We will be able to rotate, we will be able to change games from the bench but right now his hands and tied and his fingers superglued. Criticism of the boss is heresy at this moment in time, ffs
  11. Impossible to keep pulling rabbits out of the same hat again and again with the same Xi. I know we've got no options and that's the point, they're bound to be fucked and it's bound to have an impact on performances and results. Any Newcastle fan having a pop at the team tonight needs a fucking word. I know there were individual mistakes but that's a really, really fucking tired team out there who are trying their best. We got dicked tonight, 3-0 looks like a battering but it was 0-0 for about 80 minutes, they had more in the tank. We lost but it wasn't because of a lack of effort, it's just football sometimes. Let's see what happens in the return fixture.

    Kieran Trippier

It happens. The good far outweighs the bad, he's not a robot and he's going to make mistakes
  13. For all Everton are a tough nut to crack at home under the lights etc, they're a fucking awful football team. Pump it long, and see what happens - tough and hard into the challenge but there's not much quality there at all. Basically an A* Burnley. Turbo-Bolton. Whatever you want to call it. They'll get results but it's wank to watch

    Scott McTominay

Dunno like, heard his lass is game as fuck
  15. I think that's a bit too dramatic tbh They'd certainly miss him hugely but I can't see it being that bad, they'd just play another striker

    St James' Park

If they're going to F5 everything then the best option is to move to a temporary stadium on Leazes for 2 years and rebuild SJP. That small rectangle of grass has been our home for 130 years and I'd quite like that to continue to be the place we played football if at all possible like Moving 200m up the road isn't the end of the world but I'd like to stay put given the option

    sunderland

At least they've not completely shit their kegs the day after the draw. Absolutely, definitely not papping their wackers at the thought of the imminent derby Fucking joke of a club

    Hahahahaha. Like fucking clockwork

    St James' Park

The questions seem pretty direct and a bit full on but they need to test the water somehow. I get it's a bit unsavoury asking how much more you'd be prepared to pay, that's a bit naughty, but they need to ask direct questions as they may need to make a billion quid decision in the very near future. I'm not a season ticket holder any longer so I've not been consulted which is fine but I think you just need to be honest and respond to it as face value. They're just putting the feelers out, if people don't want to pay more than they currently do so then they need to say so

    Nick Pope

Big blow for Pope and us, no getting away from it. He hasn't had a great season imo, looking v uncomfortable and nowhere near as good as he was for the first 6 months of last season but we'll still miss him. If it's that bad we may not even register him in Jan tbh, opens up a place in the squad for another keeper, maybe de Gea, or another midfielder or forward. We're really stretched now and the same players are being asked to go again and again and are going to run themselves into the ground eventually. There's no obvious solution as once we get to Feb then they'll nearly all be back. Fixtures are relentless
  21. Sounds like Allardyce has invented a hypothetical situation in his own cavernous head. He's then used his own hypothetical situation to have a(nother) pop at the impatient Newcastle fans that chased him out of town. So he's invented a complete fictional situation and the Chronicle have published it. Talk about an axe to grind, him and Souness just can't accept they were utter pigshit and rightfully sacked, they've both held this grudge and trot it out as often as they can.

    Dogawful Officiating

Oh, it's absolutely weird like, 100%. I'm just clutching at straws for reasons for him to blow when he did. I honestly can't think of anything else other than he was that scared of giving City nothing that leaving it another second would mean that too much time had passed and he couldn't bring it back. If that's not his reason then I'm officially out, no idea at all
  23. It's a one-off game and that tends to favour the underdog. It'll define their season tbh - a 6th place finish and lose to the mags = failure, a 14th place finish and beat the mags = success. This game is their cup final and it's naive to think they won't raise their game and be massively up for it. They also have little pressure and are expected to lose. I'd love to go there and put 4 or 5 past them but realistically it'll be tighter than we'd all like. What I think I'd like most of all is a replay and the chance to do them at SJP and make it a biblical victory. Just going to put it all on the backburner for now though, we've got genuinely more important matters than those cunts to see to first, let's see where we are on Jan 2nd and take it from there edit - we've also got the benefit of their best player (Clarke) playing on the LW and he's up against Trippier. By most accounts if Clarke doesn't perform then this lot are bang average at best. Trippier plays then I'll be confident
  24. I think it just helps to tell a story of how matches have been played and can be very useful when used properly. I'd agree that using it in isolation can be very misleading but football stats have been developed hugely over the years and when you combine several important ones you can start to infer relationships and correlations that help to explain what's happening in a broader context Also, Inter look fucking mustard
