Dunno? I've had 3 babies and I know the offside rule! Ah but Cath's a better mother...so she wins. The only way to sort this is to put all 4 bairns in a line facing the same way, someone shouts "out",and the last one to move is obviously the one who's creating the opportunity for an imaginary opponent to make an offside trap breaking run. Whose ever child is the last one out is therefore the loser. Simples. I've already taught the boy the fundamentals of the offside rule though. Blef's girls will clearly be lacking.

How can I hate women? My mum's one.

It's PC gone mad.

Part and parcel of the game. It's horrific if it's true but these things happen and no-one's to blame. Don't want him rushed back and if it's March (or whatever) then so be it. Get the lad right first and do things properly.

Europe: would you take, er, 5th place right now?

Undoubtedly? Not sure about that like. Sincerely hope you're right but I've got my doubts personally. -

Ipswich-tastic. Dont get me wrong, I love European trips and long term it has to be a realistic aim. Next season though it wouldnt be ideal given the small squad (which lets be honest, is unlikely to be hugely expanded in the short term by Ashley, Europe or no Europe) which is currently showing signs of being very stretched with a Premier League campaign and only a handful of cup games. We need to be aware of 'second season syndrome'. Europe would be fantastic but we need a bigger, better squad so we can establish ourselves in the PL again. Just a case of walking before we can run. Long term, the club should be aiming for Europe every year once we get ourselves sorted out. -

Simply winning isn't enough in Madrid. They want the moon on a stick every week and woe betide anyone who can't deliver attacking, winning football. One of the reasons why Mourinho and the Madrid fans will fall out sooner or later. It'll end in tears. Madrid fans were chanting Mourinho's name for the majority of the match. They'll turn.

A mackem at work told me that after the derby last week that I ''wasn't allowed to talk about the 5-1 because you're only as good as your last game". Fucking idiot.
-
Fucking shut up man. Honestly.

I know he'll still get picked but Gerrard looks a million miles away from an international midfielder. Change his name and shirt and no-one would put him in an England XI.
-
England put out some dreadful XI's in the early/mid 90's. I remember Paul Warhurst (CB by trade shoved up front to emergency CF) getting a call up.

The fact some people are even seriously discussing qualifying for Europe means we've had a fantastic season. Long way to go yet but the lads are surpassing my expectations. Just need to hope we've got the legs to keep it going. Getting Carroll, Tiote and Ben Arfa back at the right time could be fucking moohassive. -
Find it hard to believe that the bottom 4 are all going to get 8 more points than us from the remaining games. An 8 (9 with the superior GD) point advantage with loads of winnable games to play is a nice cushion. They can't string 2 results together and it could take 6 or 7 matches for even one of them to catch us. They won't though. We need to reassess where we are and look to finish top half rather than merely stay up.

He didn't do particularly well this afternoon but it didn't help that he had a left-footed striker playing in front of him giving him little or no protection. This against one of the quickest wingers in the league. He got burned a couple of times and could have done better but he's not totally to blame.

We were out on our feet for the last 10 minutes and their goal had been coming for ages. Like a weary boxer on the ropes. Spurs deserved their point but we should have slammed the door in their faces but decided to go for the second. Should have seen it out.
-
Why could he not have been loaned out tomorrow? We're doing QPR a fucking favour and we lend him the day BEFORE a game when we're short? Fucking amateurs running the gaff. Then again we knew that anyway.
-
He was like a fish out of water.

Had Pardew been a bit smarter with his use of subs, we'd have won that. Loaning out Routledge the day before a game has bitten us. Fucking Best off, routledge on, 5 across the park with pace on the wings. 10 mins later sub shola for ranger to give us a bit of movement. Fucked it up tbh.
-
Par for the course David. :-(

Just got on the bus and seen a buck-toothed greyhound. This is clearly a sign we're going to win 2-1.
-
He'll still move like. They've obviously got his replacement signed and can now afford to hold out for a few hundred grand more by waiting until the window is almost closed. Brinksmanship ftw.

Since when has Ben Arfa been a key man in the last few months Just meant that to have a reasonable chance of beating them we'd need our best XI on the park. We're a bit short on that atm and unfortunately I think we'll lose.
