I admire your optimism and can see where you're coming from but the big picture isn't very pretty at all. We're top and that'll paper over the cracks for the time being but this club is in the shit. We're a million miles from having a premiership standard squad and if we do fluke promotion this year we'll still need a dozen new players to even compete the following year.

The fact we're top of this division says far more about the overall standard of the league than us. We were awful. Utterly appalling. I want to think like this. I want to be positive and say things will turn around for us again and we'll get this thing back on track but I just don't believe it will happen. We're desperately short on cover if we pick up a couple of injuries/suspensions and we need all of the injured players back asap. Particularly Taylor and Coloccini.
