This. If he'd have been above board about wanting to go then I wouldn't have blamed him. The way he and his agent went about engineering a move away to City was bang out of order and it wiped out all of the goodwill he'd built up over the 9 years for us. He can fuck off. No sympathy for the snidey, duplicitous little shithouse at all. Agreed and in the process a keeper with a while to go on his contract, probably in the world's top 5 keepers was sold for a piddling 5 mill., due to him forcing the move..in real terms,we should have got twice that.Let's hope with a promotion Harper can sneak into the England squad for South Africa,as our keepers are hardly shrouded in greatness....wouldn't that piss Mr. Given off!! Got to say at this point that the fee we got for him was a fucking disgrace. The inept twats who brokered his deal to City need shooting. To agree a fee of about £6m (in installments) with the richest club in the world for our best player is a remarkable feat of incompetence. I wish a plague upon the fucking lot of them.

Certainly a galling way to go out...

That's just cheating. No other word for it, it's not 'professional', it's not 'clever' it's fucking cheating.

Didn't think Ireland would take it this far. Didn't think France were this shit either.
-
I think Ireland will go at France and they'll get picked off. France will torture them for the last half an hour or so. Several-0 (That said, I hope Ireland pull a performance out of the bag)
-
I don't go over the top when talking about England players but Rooney is absolute top drawer. The vast majority of the rest of the squad is vastly over-rated but he is top notch.
-
Christ, he's an absolute tool isn't he?

Serves you right for all of that Cutler shit you post Shak.

Where did you watch it? I am to make the wild prediction of: Dodgy foreign Satellite TV True. Friend of a friend knows and Egyptian who knows an Italian who has a special every channel satellite box that was borrowed for the evening. Nothing like a room full of angry Bosnians. One half of said Bosnians who take islam seriously werefuriously smoking their fags downing bottles of coca cola and spouting such filth at the referee that children had to be removed from the room. The other half were drinking their beer/ whiskey/ vodka while spouting such filth at the referee that children had to be removed from the room. In the end the loss was blamed on the wives (bad luck or something) there will be a few beatings tonight. God Allah bless 'em. There were a few calls for old Allah to break portugese players/refs leg/face/collar bone Surprising to hear that from followers of such a peaceful religion like Islam. Yeah because Christians are so much better. No such thing such thing as a peaceful religion imo. I wasn't being entirely serious btw.

If they want to have a dig at Ashley, have a dig at Ashley. Don't bring someone in who had the thankless task of keeping much of a Premiership squad together and happy in the face of a good deal of criticism and uncertainty. Hughton for me deserves a fair bit of praise for his atitude and application in his time here, and has, as far as I've seen, tried to keep well away from the politicking. That is an utterly cuntish cover from True Faith. /who have a tendancy to wallow way too much in their own spite and misery when they feel hard done by these days (whether under this regime, or the last days of F.Shepherd). It's a bit disrespectful to Hughton who, to his credit, has got his head down and battled on doing the job he's been asked to do. I don't think he's a manager and I wasn't impressed (or surprised) with the appointment but he's got us to the top of the league and we all hope we stay there. It's only a fanzine cover at the end of the day though.

Only just realised it's half time.
-
I think it's more a dig at Ashley tbh. Not a particularly big deal either way.
-
I think he's fucking great. Clever, quick and knows where the goals are. He won't retire and if he applies himself he could be as good as he wants to be. Probably shouldn't have signed for City but I can understand why he did.

Should Celtic & Rangers be allowed to join the Premiership?

Why? The best teams in Scotland are very poor. What's the justification for letting even worse teams in? -

True. But imho they'd piss the CCC...would be as easy for them as it's been for us (so far). I'd go along with that. Can't think of a single player in the SPL who would start for a top 4 team down here though. -

If they were parachuted into the Premier League they would both struggle to stay up imo. They're both obviously massive clubs with the fan-base to compete after a few years but they're both pretty poor at this moment in time. -
Having to see the likes of Hull, Burnley and Wigan get to play some of the best teams on the continent. It vexes me.

Aye, it's nice to see different countries from different parts of the world compete. Part of what makes the World Cup so special. Looking forward to this one quite a bit actually.
