I think the Premiership chairmans were taking the piss when they voted to allow us to appoint Glen Roeder. They'll have been thinking: "Great, that'll put them lot out of contention for at least another season!" You only just realised that?

I've always kept tabs on him when he was at Leeds United tbh always struck me why he never started more games he did the season after they went down.

Most and best realistic manager we can get IMO, he made Chalrton a well established club in the Premiership, i said as soon as he left Charlton will struggle. He made Charlton hard to beat at home although they always got the odd tonking against the big teams who doesn't. With signings like Holland, Ambrose Bent etc he likes to go British/Irish which i think is always a good thing. If Freddie is smart he should be having contacts with him already but some how i doubt it.

Gerrard doesn't like Rafa, and Rafa doesn't like to get to know the players that well. Gerrard said Rafa doesn't bother with any of them after training etc...Didn't even send a card of visit him for the birth of his child back in May. Now this is a problem if Gerrard is highlighting it, but the bigger concern is allowing Bellamy that much free reign. Yer i watched it he was class held up the ball well strength on the ball is immense and good link up plays with the midfield. Man Utd look alot better without RVN in this formation.

To be fair Emre shooting from over 30yards, he has a great shot on him but it would have had to be something special from there and he tried it a few times which got frustrated. But fair play to him he tried to rally the team a few times and tried to get the team going but it just wasn't happening.

I'm hoping that even with the new buy, Luque will still get his chance especially in the UEFA Cup against more technical teams. In fact most top sides have 4 strikers. With the new buy, we will only have 3. So its not all doom and gloom for him just yet, but you are right, it all depends whether Roeder wants to give him a chance of just waste 9.5 million worth of investment 3 Fit ones assuming we get Martins, I'll say if Dyer and Owen ever return then our strikerforce isn't tht bad tbh we always got emergency backups like Duff N'Zogbia etc... now time for the defence forgot bout Owen tbh tbh so did i to be fair i've written off Owen for this season so we need a temporary 1 year striker to cover him maybe someone along the likes of Shearer jk before some people kick off
