Best crosser I´m seen in the club since Robert/Solano - which was ages ago. Ryan Taylor has a decent cross on him. Might get a bit of stick but Barton had some good crosses in his time here. As well as that the set pieces normally went something like, Barton lofted ball into the box ---> Carroll flick in to the 6 yard box ---> Nolan bundles the ball into the net ---> Goal

Lineker scored 48 England goals, I'd love to see how many Pedro set up. He could do the lot, dribble, pass, shoot with both feet, you don't see that often these days. One of the best all round players we will ever see at this club.

Putting a slight non biased view on things, strikers he tends to struggle against are the nippy quick strikers e.g. Shane Long and Odemwingie spring to mind so hopefully he can keep up his form from today.

He played the youngsters against San Marino, reverted back to the so call first teamers against Poland, agree with the comment about Milner though, should never be in the first team especially when likes of Chamberlain is on the bench.

Hell even under SBR our most regular starting centre backs were what Dabizas, Bramble and O'Brien? And the Caldwell brothers. Our defence individually was horrific under Bobby but as a unit they did ok. Aaron Hughes did a good job covering the middle when we were short. Never should have been sold in my opinion great squad player similar to what Perch is for us now.

I'd love to see how fast that goal was, about 10mins before he tried a shot with his right foot and the commentator, hmm maybe with his left but not his right and then BOOM.

Bigi was our best player, just didnt look the same going forward couldn't hit the front men enough.

Think everyone has covered nearly everything on the game. Ben Arfa was our best player by a mile. We had some good spells in the 1st half where we kept the ball well and then gave away a silly penalty conceded by Anita, definitely a penalty. Create some good chances 2nd half Ba should have scored but Cech made a great save. Sometimes though I think we were too predictable, if its not Ben Arfa carrying it forward on the right then it was Santon on the left. I can remember one pass which went perfect for Simpson and I was shouting hit the bar line and cross it in, but he turned back on himself and the ball went backwards and the momentum was lost. I'm praying we get Debuchy before the deadline because he would be class in our team and give us an extra dimension when going forwards.

Yeah it was mentioned loads and rightly so, that ball trap and pass Shame Simpson couldn't do anything with it Anyone got a video of that? I saw it once at the match and not seen it since.
