The whole thing is completely bizarre. Have you heard the stories about Saha being available too? I still don't understand why you're not stronger, financially I mean. The long and the short of it is that Kenwright doesn't have the money, and he's painfully said this time and again. It is depressing seeing sides like Villa, City and Spurs, teams we realistically are (ok, not right at the moment) competing with, get ahead of us by simply having more money. I've heard of rumours, and I prey it is just that. Truthfully, I think he'll stay. It's not just that Kenwright doesn't have massive personal wealth though, that's a bit of a cop out. It's more to do with the piss poor way he runs the club from a business point of view. Our debt has spiralled under Kenwright despite zero investment in the team or stadium. WAfuckingGES

Indeed...but the atmosphere will be unique! that place could house 90,000 Geordies! I dont care for aesthetics! Big is definitely not Beautiful! Its what's inside that counts!!!! and I think in that place...when inside we could have a damn good time!!! not if the atmosphere of the past few years is there. if we are winning and playing well then fair enough but you could say that for a lot of clubs. (sorry for being honest)

we have players who are plodding at this level, whats going to happen to them with a step up. Well we have some good youngsters who might be able to step up and challenge the old guard. Kadar, Krul and Ranger all look like they can offer some fresh legs and enthusiasm. We could buy in more and ship out the deadwood. We might have done it with Geremi, unfortunately Nicky Butt looks like hanging on til his last pay packet. guthrie,nolan,shola,r.taylor,barton,pancrate,butt,smith. when was the last time one of these played a game that made you think they'd survive in the prem ? Guthrie offers some movement, Shola has scored goals in the premier, Barton tries to pass to feet as does Smith, Pancrate can run. Nolan, Taylor and Butt should all quit and sign new lucrative contracts as soon as Joe Kinnear gets appointed as manager of a leading club. guthrie offers some movement at this level, shola has scored but now struggles at this level, barton has had 3 or 4 decent games in 3 years, smith is butt without the crowd on his back.

i saw similar from that kid who claimed he lost 4grand on the angola 4-4 game.

hmmmmm that the villa one ? why post slips from the winners and only post the ones beforehand. no doubting you've a few but when i can be bothered i'll have a check at how many slips you've posted before the event.

i've stuck celtic in one of my accys for tomorrow.

eddco. the gallowgate bit is doable but the cost is prohibitive. as for your dream, looks very good, but looks like many stadiums round the world.
-
i always gauge the crowd on how many seats are left in the milburn, middle tier top left towards the gallowgate as these ,even in the prem days, seemed to be the last in the ground to be sold.

thing is if it weren't for the east stand and parts of the milburn it would look very similar to the big bowl, the same all the way round type stadium. i agree, but i think it would be the best of them. realistically tho. just do the gallowgate like the leazes would be a fantastic horse-shoe. aye it would. got to admit i'm a fan of the differing types of stand around grounds but that would be good.

one of the best things about SJP is its positioning slightly up a hill from the rest of the city centre. i've been on a few trains coming into newcastle from the south and away fans ALWAYS comment on it when they see it coming round the bend onto that bridge. without exception they comment on how impressive it is. just wish they'd drape a banner and add some flags to the back of the gallowgate so it's not so much a gray slab.

weshington (no spelling mistake there either) was one idea, somewhere by the metro centre was another as was gosforth park. john halls ideas before he got in charge. i don't think the idea was to merge but to ground share. (weshington)
-
i agree with this though i'd add jonas, carroll and ranger to the list. (carroll and ranger as first team squad players who may come through)
-
more so down to the nightlife and shopping than SJP methinks. SJH nad fred gave us some fantastic times and the best football i've seen in my life....but they left no legacy.

thats just asking for a broken leg.

whenever i saw him on the town he was always very sheepish and seemed embarassed at all the attention. -
duff never had that sort of pace but could just drop a shoulder and go past witrhout having to byrn them off. milner does get past defenders a lot more than people seem to give him credit for.
-
I'd say he has more chance of getting in the England team out wide. We have competition wide right as well but Milner brings qualities the others don't. People talk about playing people out of position but Milner is very versatile, he has played for years out wide, most of his career in fact, and I believe this is where he would play for England. a bit of both is where i see him. in the duff/robben role at chelsea. not wingers but allowed to go wide but also doing a lot of qwork in the full back/centre half channel.
-
Yup. Even though its to mark the teams promotion, its almost certain there'll be a group there still singing against Mike Ashley. [/quotenot just those shouting about ashley etc. i've witnessed two promotions, both were big time parties that i can't see happening this time round in the same way.

who's that ? the only other club i've heard interested was villa. Because they haven't informed you personally, doesn't mean they don't exist. see above man. Doesn't change a thing. What happens happens - then we can all play the "I told you so" game. Until then - hypothetical. stop talking cack man. i asked who else was interested then i got told off someone else. why do you have to make an issue out of a simple question ?.
