  1. that apathy is over 40,000 turning up for home games. as someone previously said all have had a massive negative impact on the club though it's maybe worth looking at the positions they took over in and allardyce deserves as much a mention as gullit.

aye, fabregas's expansivness of the=is season seems to be at the expense of his positioning and ball winning of last.

had a hand in our goal.....laid it back for a cross didn't he. hardly a touch of class. the results do not back up his performance as he played poorly in those games i mentioned. contrary to popular opinion players can have hands in goals or even score yet still play poorly. i used butt as an example to prove this.
  7. aye. i agree,must've skipped that bit.

he was poor against cardiff, same home to QPR. if you want to go down the route of results when he plays i'm sure you'll be nicky butts cheerleader for this season as he's been missing for 2 of our 3 defeats.
  9. spot on except the video official bit.
  10. your fatha is s*** Pilko's father played for Watford bollocks. they couldn't afford me now let alone in my prime.

Those replies may look daft in the near future, I hope! i doubt however he plays in the future can change my opinion of how he has played so far. good prospect mind.

They look like a better Footballing side but also a softer side then us with less quality individuals. I also thought we did well at their ground, they were the team at home and they couldn't beat us despite their goal being quite lucky. West Brom pass the ball better but we are far tougher as a team. We can pass the ball at times, and we can mix it with the more physical sides like Leicester and Sheff Utd if need be. We lack a bit of pace through the middle otherwise we are the best all round team in this division. sheff utd away could well turn out to be the turning point of our season as we fought whereas at scunthorpe, blackpool and forest we allowed ourselves to be out muscled/hussled out the game.

I always ask what Rotherham have to do with it - they were the first. Particularly annoying is its use when another United are playing them and the commentator blithely refers to the c***s. My ex-boss was an Irish Liverpool fan and it took me about 5 years of working with him but I did teach him to change the habit of a lifetime and start referring to them as Man United - I didn't get him to go as far as I do and refer to them as the Manc c***s though. I'd also like to add that there are too many recent fans who don't harbour a deep enough hatred for both them and Liverpool with all this s*** about people hating Chelsea and Spurs more really pisses me off - you must have short memories or don't appreciate where Man Utd and Liverpool stand in the scheme of things. The "United" thing doesn't bother me one bit. I doubt Notts County fans are particularly bothered when we get called The Magpies claiming, "Which Magpies? We were first blah blah". it bothers me as it is symptomatic of the media creeping agenda of "top 4 and fuck all else" which is a self fulfilling prophecy. in days gone by MotD would show them most but not as the feature game every week. same with radio commentary. it would have been rather 5th Verses 6th as opposed to top verses 14th or even a top clash from the next league down...that wouldn't happen now.

why would it be streets....remington streete doesn't work.
  16. been a shop assistant and gave as i got as i do in my present job. no-one should have the right to have a go at anyone else without getting some back. you should think about what you are saying. paying entrance to a footbasll ground gives you the right to call someone whatever you want and that person can't say anuthing back ?....what bizzarre folk we have in here. seems like theres a few in here want to have a go at someone but if they retaliate will run off screaming like a three year old girl who's had her crayons pinched. ps you'll find coppers will ofetn give as good as they get, then abit extra. I could probably agree with that to a point, but there's a limit. Adebeyor got stick for celebrating in front of the Arse fans which was perfectly justifiable considering the fans were clearly a bunch of abusive cry babies. In Joey Barton's case though he's failed to learn a thing and is a wilful repeat offender so I really can't be bothered defending him. if someone tells him to fuck off then in my opinion he's well within his rights to tell them similar back.
  17. Pretty sure that's all we're going to give him at best, I don't think Hughton is daft enough to think he'll work at a higher level. If he gets a few goals and we go up, job done. i can't see him being kept beyond his current loan period. (at the moment that is, if he plays better and gets more goals before that loan is up)

The under 14's have some really good players, my nephew plays for Cramlington juniors and they played the academy last week in a friendly, NUFC beat Crammy 8-1, the week before the beat Wallsend 9-0. Wallsend and Crammy are at the top of their league and have some decent players but Crammy were battered, the goal they scored was from a lad who trains with the academy twice a week and NUFC wanted to play for them on the night. On the way home my nephew said good job Remi wasn't playing, i asked who remi was and he said Remi Steele, should be playing for under 14's but plays for the under 16's instead, he maybe a player to keep an eye out for, although plenty could happen to him between being 13 and 17-18 when he would make a break through towards reserve/1st team. Who's got the better name: Nile Ranger or Remi Steele? hope hope hope hope hope remi is short for remington.

    Nile Ranger

am i the only one lost on this nile ranger love in ?. he came in and held the ball up well against leicester without ever looking like scoring. against ipswich he was unlucky with a couple of chances without playing well (if we can say harewood scored 2 and done nowt else on saturday the same standards should apply to ranger) and he's been fairly anonymous in his other outings. he's a good prospect but "A blind man can see his pace, power and agility are too much for a lot of the opponents." is taking the piss in my humblest.

the mindless passing reminds me of the pre season bayern munchen friendly a few years back. the 2 blokes in front of me were wanking themselves over their play "patient, brilliant....thats the way it should be...controlled...why can't we do that" etc then when we got the ball and knocked it about "get it up man....we'll not score from back there.....get it in the box...we need to get it forward quicker" the unfortunate truth is that nufc fans like football direct and whilst slagging off the long ball it's what the majority want for the most part or the ball lumped into the box at the earliest opportunity.
  23. no fan should be abusive like that to a player if he doesn't think the palyer has the right to give some back. why should anyone feel the right to call anyone in any situation without getting some back ? fans need to grow up, paying an entrance fee gives no right to do that.
