Duff and Bramble couldn't play any worse. I'd like to see if they are actually playing much better, they aren't as scrutinized as they were here. Bramble is making the same amount of mistakes as he was, mistakes that would be criticised for weeks on end here, that won't be the case at Wigan. As for Milner, he's simply playing in a better team. why couldn't they play any worse ? bramble was wigans player of the year last season, in what i think was their best ever season and the fulham fans have taken to duff.

it's not just butt, it's whoever plays that role as smith is just as bad and guthrie has hardly inspired confidence in a more box to box role.

They're all the f***ing same. And I don't think we've been playing all that great. You are going to get beaten sooner or later, when one opposition striker suddenly finds a rich vein of form. I felt confident of us 'giving you a game' and having a good chance (which by all accounts we did, to an extent), so I don't think it's wrong for any other team in this division to feel the same tbh. They're not going to go into every game saying 'we're gan fukken loose like', are they? why not, we did the last couple of seasons.

I was in our end behind the goal that day, loads of my mates were in the end to our left but most of my mates were in the home end opposite where I was. we officially had both ends behind the goals. i was in the uncovered end and to our right, a supposed home end, it was at least 50% newcastle. didnt the tickets for the opposite end, we were also in, say 'Cow Sheds' on them? possibly. i don't even think i had a ticket. i remember going into a rasta pub f*** off pilko and they enjoyed having us there as "white guys don't come in", got me a f*** off pilko taste for red stripe in there and my first smokes. after the game a toon f*** off pilko fan was directing traffic and the traffic obeyed him. get in.... i was too young to go in a pub. remember some lads skipping with a giant toon scarf on the pitch at the end of the game. we needed a point to go up, i think we went 2-0 down early on? man citeh, easter monday........ getting off the train at stalybridge as one of the cops on the train let slip we'd be escorted straight to the ground. the sight of half a dozen cops trying to stop about 200 of us was quite funny, then walking down the hill into staly a cop van pulls alongside us, the female driver can't believe her eyes and runs over a traffic island and bollard while gawping at us. then the other cop in the van. gets out, runs over to a pub, (about 9am) brays on te door till the landlord opens a window, the landlord is begged by the cop to allow us in for drinks as his bosses reckon it's best to have us in the pub than wandering the streets.
