He HAS to sell, there's no other option. The "Cockney Mafia Out" banner made his position as owner untenable. He and his family will never be safe in the region again let alone at the ground, and all the protests and boycotts will adversely affect the team until he sells. He's desperately trying to sell to dozens of mystery buyers from around the globe and his mate Barry - have you not read the papers or listened to those privileged enough to be "in the know"? We just have to be patient and know that the only reason we've not been sold yet is because even in spite of the disgraceful way he has been treated he still loves the club and in his own words "any potential buyer would have to show they had the best interests of Newcastle United at heart and had both the commitment and finance to be worthy custodians of such a fine football club before I would even consider doing a deal". That's why he's always put a price on the club well in excess of it's value so that any new owner can show they are worthy to run the club as "responsibly at all levels" as Mike himself has. Unfortunately we've driven out the man who saved us from mid-table premiership football, and sorted out the finances so we now have a wage bill a few million lower than when he took over - albeit with a load less players and a lot less quality - and doubling the debt while halving the revenue. He also saved any new owners the bother of bringing in season ticket money by taking 3 years in advance so they wont have the hassle of having to factor that into next season's income. All in just over 2 years, amazing stuff, just think what he could do if only he was given a bit longer by us ungrateful so-called supporters. We all just need to have patience, trust in Mike & Derek, and know that while we're waiting their good work is continuing behind the scenes (in spite of the best efforts of our ex-chairman who even now is almost certainly to blame for anything which may go wrong). one or two things wrong in there. how'd he double the debt ? he hasn't taken 3 seasons worth of ticket money up front. the last sentence reference to the old regime is a bit silly but is how some see it.

had we backed him we'd have been saying it's ok for players to decide when they want to train and when they dont. cracking player who tried to wag the dog.
-
what about if they play snidey tricks to engineer a move before putting in a transfer request kust to drag as much money as possible out of a club dying on its arse. for those that say he owed us nowt you seem to forget he was bloody well played ands stayed all those years as he was not offered better terms from elsewhere.
-
patience ?. he's been here over 2 years and has rarely played better than ok,thats when he's not injured or in prison, he's at an age regarded as being his peek and his performances are going backwards and he doesn't look bothered. i think 2 years of patience is as much as should be expected, dont you ?

From pub opening hours. Does it not count if it has origins somewhere else? I never heard anyone say "early doors" except in a football context. ron atkinson was the first person i heard use it. sure he meant to say "early days" but mispronounced it and was too pig headed to own up.

Nonsense, he was s*** against Cardiff, did much less than Barton. Comes on and provides an assist and he's the best midfielder at the club? Drivel. Drivel? You are a complete idiot. Who said I was basing it on the last game? **** me. So far this season Guthrie has been our best midfielder I can't see how anyone would say otherwise (see edit!). All these Barton lovers are just idiots, he had three decent games under Keegan and has done nothing else in a NUFC shirt. Guthrie and Smith is our best central midfield partnership and Barton will be lucky to scrape a place on the RW ahead of Geremi who is also better than him at the moment (hardly a great situation for our 'best midfielder' to be in is it?) Edit- Forgot about Smith, Guthrie is our best attacking minded midfielder I should say. Certainly ahead of Barton anyway. Anyway, I see you didn't even mention Smith but compared Guthrie's performances to Barton. Do you honestly think Barton is our best midfielder? Guthrie looked out of his depth in the premiership, Barton put in numerous motm performances for Man City. Therefore, him being a worse player than Guthrie, from an objective point of view, is drivel. How long can a player survive on past reputation though? With that logic we should say Butt is our best player because he was quality for Man U in the past. At the moment Guthrie is on the way up and improving whilst Barton seems to have given up. Butt is a pensioner, Barton is 27 so that logic makes no sense whatsoever. his performances since he signed for us make no sense whatsoever. i asked earlier abiout how long is a players "form" ? when does poor form stop and he just gets classed as being a poor player. i'm sure joey has crossed this threshold. It takes longer than one game in his preferred position. are you making out that was his first game there in his time here ? even out of position you can do the basics.

have we played better when he's been out ? At least we're winning when he's out. Krul Taylor Taylor Kadar Enrique (have we got another LB?) Geremi Butt Vuckic LuaLua Ranger Donaldson the performances should prove that it's not "because" he's out though. -
Again, a nautical term from the days of sea-faring wars. rubbish..it's from the days of remote control boats at paddy freemans when you had to identify your frequency with little coloured flags on a board so you didn't conflict with the controls of another boat. i believe it also happens in the high revving world of remote controlled cars.(or at least it used to....and no i didn't have a boat, a friend did) Cool, Sir Walter Scott had a remote controlled boat 200 years ago i wasn't being serious you know.

he's been in a huff for the best part of 3 years then.

i can understand a player playing out of position getting caught out positionally but no matter where you are playing you can make a 5yd movement to get in space, mark a man or pass to someone on your team when they are unmarked.
-
have you got marley with ya ?
-
do you really think the game changed because ranger came on ? Going 442 changed the game, both Guthrie & Ranger played a part though. no no! it was just cos nile came on. Yeah, straight like a bandana innit. you stupid bumdaclart

Didn't Colo play Smith and Enrique into trouble a couple of times in the first half? he did. however no-one else was perfect, overall he was our best player today.

What if the bear was raised around humans since birth, and taught tricks like any other pet is taught tricks? my goldfish won't do tricks.
