rangers may stuff a few accys up tonight.
-
shouls be a rule of the thread. "no decleration of bets after kick off". sometimes i'm suspicious of peiople saying about their accys or waiting on one result when we only find out after. Yeah ... because people really want to impress people like you. Don't flatter yourself. More often than not playing it simple & obvious is better than punting(AKA the daft £5 accumulator . Well played I've only bet a few times, done the standard thing of putting a couple of quid on a wild 6/7 game accy. Not going to bother with that anymore. Might as well increase the stake and like you say just bet on dead certs. Would watch out for Dynamo tonight I've seen them at evens, but Rubin Kazan look like quite a side to beat. Top of the Russian league with 46 points from 21 games. Won their last 5 games on the trot. Got a goal difference of +33 compared to Spartak's +16 and CSKA's +12. They were 4/1 yesterday, been cut to 14/5 today. not to impress me but to impress generally.

my guess is not all out attack but lots of 100mph style pressure, closing down very quick and all over. (based purely on the managers usual style)

If players are sold in January, they will be sold regardless of the result of this case. If Keegan wins and takes any money it will of course be used as an excuse. you don't thin k the club losing a further 10mill will affect comings and goings ?
-
Maybe people are scared that if Ashley wins, he might suddenly get a sudden surge of confidence and decide he is loved again and do a u-turn and decide not to sell. Thats an absolutely horrific thought so to avoid him even getting close to that kind of mentality, it would be important for KK to win any case. nobody is thinking that. certain people on here just want keegan to win so they can score a point. its really that simple. I am not sure. I think people just have 100% confidence that KK will be proven to be the injured party. because it's KK. if the roles were reversed and wise were the manager and KK the DoF many would still back keegan due to personalities.

I hope Keegan gets f*** all. And I fail to understand anyone who wants him to take one single penny off the Club / Ashley. Do folk really think that Ashley will foot the bill? Or will it be likely that any payout to Keegan will end any further loan players coming in or players being almost thrown out the door at any old price to cover the cost come the next transfer window? f*** off Keegan. I hope you get what you deserve. Nowt. Spot on, anyone who wants Keegan to win is not a fan of the club, but is an idiot Keegan supporter. Typical pro ashley sympathiser and KK hater! In WWII you would have been sniffing hitlers crotch. Its not about wanting KK to win, its about getting to the truth. if its about getting at the truth why have you already nailed your colours ? Because of the evidence over the past year and a bit with Ashley f***ing the club about. If it turns out KK has been a propper c*** in all this then so be it. Its another monkey off the clubs back. Like I said its a win either way as the club would never see the money in the first place. tbf keegan has a history of being less than truthful (remember his reasons for leaving first time round) and playing power games (ray wilkins still wont speak to him apparently). right now i trust neither. both try to spin things their way. thats why i want more evidence preferably in a court of law where hopefully the threat of perjury may get at some truth.

Sorry, I edited in a condition. no probs. it's also why i put a "possibly" in my original sentence. i think he really wants to sell but he wants what he considers to be the best possible price.

how? if keegan wins, the club (bigger than keegan remember) doesnt benefit at all. we get X million further in the red. Like we would ever see that 10 million anyway, and if KK does win the truth is OUT once and for all. Yet another NAIL in Ashleys coffin. If Ashley wins and KK is proven to be a c*** (which i dont think he will) It finally gets rid of the monkey off the cubs back with the fans and the club doesnt lose 10 mil or whatever. Not that the club would ever see that money. See our last few transfer windows for proof. it's not so m uch that we'd ever see it,more so that any buyer would possibly have to find another 10mill to takeover the club as ashley would be unlikely to pay keegan himself. I presonally think and this is just me, if fat git sold the club during this court case and then left quickly. I think KK would trike a deal with the new owners, KKs gripe is with Ashley, Llambias, wise and his other bitches. It just so happens these bastards were running the club at the time. I personally think Keegan's claim is only a bargaining chip to try and get the club to drop it's claim against him. any verificatiuon on which claim was lodged first ?

No, Ashley would have to accept £10m less. thats why we've sold so quickly already.

even if it turns out he was in the wrong ? If he is worng he wont get a penny. well dah! i was replying to ahmed hope that he gets every penny he's claimed for without actually knowing what went on. we should have a sweep as to what people think will be the result. i'm going for keegan to be awarded a sum but nowhere near the ammount he's claiming. And us never to find out the whole truth. Seems the most likely outcome. aye. my hopes were dashed as soon as i found out it was going to an arbitration panel and not a court of law. We'll just have to wait for Keegan's next book. tbf although i rate him as a manager, even though i'd say past his best i don't particularly trust him

There still seem to be plenty of people amongst our fanbase who have already decided that the case will be decided on the premise that Ashley is a fat Cockney tosser and Keegan is a Toon legend. Therefore its a nailed on massive victory for KK. We know very little of the contracts or any of the facts really. I have had some experience of constructive dismissal and it is very hard to prove. Employers have successfully defended claims like this by saying that they had to take certain actions in the commercial and financial interests of the business and, as such, couldn't honour clauses in the employee's contract. And none of us even knows if there were any clauses in Keegan's contract that were breached here. If it's true that Keegan had a £2 million penalty clause in his contract for a walkout it's quite possible that he is the party who has to come up with a decent defence and not the club. so after reading that it could happen that keegan could be broadly in the right but could still get found against ? Possibly. And Keegan could lose his case and the club win theirs, so Keegan has to cough up. so quite probably we'll never find out.

even if it turns out he was in the wrong ? BUT he wasnt wrong and i dont need some tribunal to tell me that. I would back someone like Keegan over the likes of Wise, Llambias and Ashley EVERY single day of the week nice open minded statement.

it's not just you. i've stated on here a few times that my interest in football has dipped over roughly the same period. my interest in football apart from NUFC is non existent if you take gambling out. my opinion of footballers has never been so low.

reading between the lines i'd say keegan winning money off the club could well make regime change less likely as that money will have to brought into the equation as ashley won't pay it out of his own pocket. for the record i hope whoever wins is in the right and we get to find out what went on.

Now, yes. Two years ago, no. Times change. I'm an old fart (born in 65) so in my lifetime they have won the League, FA Cup, League Cup (twice) Charity Shield (twice) and the old Cup Winners Cup. During the same period we have won the Fairs Cup and that's it. I have to say they are bigger than us overall but definately these days with their current owners. yes but till last season.......from say 92ish (ie a good deal of the frecent past)
-
this'll be the first of the "in your face" teams we've played. will McLoven play ? will we pack the midfield again ? this is a slightly new challenge in which i'd like to see us dominate,we acan and should.......but will we ?

isn't unreserved seating basically what we have when we have cash turnstiles open ?
