    RIP sale thread.

Because a load of Ashley supporters desperately need to try and deflect at least some of the blame for the club's current state away from their beloved leader? If it wasn't for dastardly Keegan, the way Ashley was running the club would have worked & we'd now only be a couple of years from challenging for everything don't ya know. who are these ashley supporters ? most agreed when he came in we couldn't keep going as we were financially, haven't got a clue what happened with keegan and think ashley got it totally wrong with kinnear etc. or is it a case that some think if you have any criticism of keegan or the previous board then you must therefore think that ashley has done everything right ? Being on the defensive in this way EVERYTIME someone makes this kind of comment sends out a message, madras. Thought I'd mention it. as pointed out numerous times i'll defend him, fred, stalin when they do things i consider to be right and condemn them when i think they do wrong. you do remember back in the old days when i did defend fred quite a bit until the point where i personally thought he's going backwards and isn't going to turn it round. i'll not blindly back one for their entirety. that goes for keegan aswell. like i've said too many times now as to why keegan left, i don't know and i'll await evidence before i blame him, ashley, wise or nayone else.

If KK is proven right in court and the cub have to pay him 10 mil, then its AShley at fault again. Seems to be a reocurring situation doesn't it. Ashley seems to be at the centre of all the problems at the club and KK still gets the blame. laughable. possibly been pointed out but i don't think it's going to court. more of an arbitration panel so we'll still probably never find out.

tbf at least one of those wlakings out was to take the national teams managers job. (hardly walking out in other words) Where would the club be if he hadnt have walked out that first time after a couple of weeks ? if i've understood that right then we'd be where we are now as he returned after his first flounce. But its this idea that the flounce is a personal hissy fit instead of a calculated judgement to get what he wants for the benefit of the club - as that first, flounce if thats what you want to call it, proved. but according to folklore it was terry mac that talked him into returning not hall etc giving in.

if the rumours are true then schweinsteiger was agreed then the player pulled out on deadline day. then again it's all rumour and conjecture right now. if it is going to tribunal this week i hope it's open.

knowing us it'll be 6 defeats off the trot to create some more sense of drama.

    Clean-sheets?

kezman managed 2 but it was a close thing on the 2nd morning.
  18. We are also relying on the opposition to be very poor up front as well and to be fair they usually oblige. true.
  19. can we go the whole season doing this (stopping the oppo and creating nowt but relying on the oppo to be very poor at the back) for the whole season ? i've seen nothing yet to make me think otherwise.
  20. Kevin is a w*****? keegan loves the yankee dollar by the skids ?

    Michael Chopra

one very good turn when he shot against taylors arm (and no it wasn't a pen even though i've seen them given). outside that, nothing. good championship striker....no more.
  22. No doubt.... Not sure if I'm wearing colours or not, probably will. [DannyDyer/on]The best thing you can do guv is wear your colours as any serious member of a naughty firm will not a hit a tree*[DannyDyer/off] *= I am sure tree is the name they give fans with tops as it mean planks or some s**** like that. it's from being decorated like a christmas tree.
  23. Back of the net! how much and well done.
  24. One of the maddest posts ever in internet history It's mad now, sure, but at the time Lampard was in the final year of his contract with Chelsea stalling on a new deal, whilst we on the other hand had a billionaire owner in charge who was supposedly willing to pump money into landing a major star player or two. If we had done what Man City did regarding Robinho (or what we did with Owen from Real), and offered Lampard £200k per week or more, would he honestly have said "no"? Without doubt. Kaka was on the verge of a move to Man City. He's easily better than Lampard, recently the best player in the world, has a higher profile worldwide, and was considering a move to a mid table club with a sitting duck in Mark Hughes in charge. Money talks. Lampard is greedy. It was a possibility, even if a remote one, and hence I don't think Keegan including the player on a wishlist is a sign of madness. you will have to find one reason why keegan, with the club having hocked everything, having about 65% of turnover going on wages would find the money ? also remembering that the only placed it was mentioned was in a news of the world piece purporting to be from inside the club lambasting keegan for even thinking of the likes of lampsrd and henry and intimating that he knew the financial constraints ?
