  1. incredibly loyal.........apart from that other time when he did put in a transfer request. i don't like it when anyone fucks the fans off by playing these games to get a move.
  2. wanted to leave and played silly games to engineer the move before putting in a request. thanks shay for all you've done but i have lost all respect for you.
  3. before hand i'd have been quite happy with a point. a bit miffed in the end we didn't take all 3 even with half a team out. bassong was immense, enrique much better for having jonas with him, duff worked hard and (deep breath) taylor had as good a game at right back as beye has this season. don't think it was a penalty but then again has there been a dirtier team on tyneside this season ?
  4. hughsie.......if the accoustics are that bad you may want to get in touch with the hull fans and even your own fans from a few years back who could be heard under exactly the same conditions.
  5. we need someone that will play well week in and out. not someone who'll score a pretty goal now and again.
  6. it's not just his attitude. even when he was happy, beyond that first 12-18month the form was at best patchy. lots of taking on 3 players and after 4 years and over 100 games at this level not knowing when to give it. he'll look good on MOTD but his stock will drop at wigan as it has here because the product isn't there away from some fancy touches.
  7. He won't like, he'll start well, within a year he'll look huffy and barely ever perform, then the "My agent tells me" s*** will start. The kids a rotten egg and I honestly can't see that changing because he's moved to a small club who are performing above themselves at the moment. Bruce has already said that he's happy for Zog to use Wigan as a stepping stone to a bigger move. This is good man-management, I've doubted Bruce in the past but his buying and handling of players is making me think I mis-judged him. going to wigan is like going to army. i bet he would think twice to have mess with bruce. bruce training method is more intensive than other football clubs. he'll change undoubtly. wrong ...going to wigan is for those wanting to prove themselves........charles thinks he already has.

    The Mackems Game

Ask yourself this question...In the last 27 years how many games have we lost away to sunderland Once. Why do ask? any particular reason why you pick 27 years instead of rounding up to 30 or 50 ?

    The Mackems Game

so then. newcastle/sunderland games are normally a spiteful affair to start with, throw in relegation tension on both sides, mike ashley returning possibly, could easily kick off big style.........any truth the BBC have drafted in kate adie as match summariser ?
  10. that concerns me most too, which is why i'm so anxious to find out who's going to be our manager next season, appointing kinnear would be almost souness/roeder levels of stupidity, almost Well mate, if we lose tomorrow (and I normally try to be positive minded on a game by game basis because you can win any game if you play well on the day) we will be 6 points behind even the mackems, with only 14 games left, including home games against ManU, Arsenal and Chelsea. Time and options running out. imposter....someone has hijacked ne5's account. a clear attack on fred's tenure and is met with no "euro qualification more than blah blah blah".
  11. another elano ? comes in plays great...then drifts away and is poor...but everyone just remembers the good stuff it's the kinkladze syndrome
  12. nolan? Well if we have raised money for Nolan by selling NZogbia, where is this 10m kitty gone? Either way we should not have to sell to buy. the club is running at a loss. we either sell to buy or see if the banks will be nice. would be nice if ashley's 10million was on top of incomings....even if it was 20mill last year ?
  13. Taylor says Magpies boss is 'at best disrespectful, at worst deeply offensive' Published Date: 31 January 2009 Joe Kinnear's mispronunciation of Charles N'Zogbia's name is "at best disrespectful and at worst deeply offensive", according to Professional Footballers' Association chief executive Gordon Taylor. In a television interview earlier this week, Kinnear referred to the Frenchman as 'insomnia', sparking a row between the Newcastle manager and his player. N'Zogbia released a statement saying he would not play for the Magpies again under Kinnear, but the former Wimbledon boss retaliated by saying the argument was a "desperate attempt to engineer a move away from Newcastle United". Taylor has now waded into the clash between the Newcastle pair. In a statement, the players' chief said: "Why should we not expect Charles N'Zogbia to be upset when his own manager cannot even remember his correct name in public but chooses to say 'insomnia'? "Respect runs two ways. "This is at best disrespectful and at worst deeply offensive, especially as insomnia is as difficult to pronounce as N'Zogbia. It's not good when people who should cannot remember your name. "Ask Graham Taylor how he feels when he gets called Gordon Taylor. We are our name. "The word (insomnia) gives the media a stick with which to beat the lad." He needs to shut the f*** up and use common sense. What a tit. union leader in "must defend my union member regardless" shocker gordon taylor is one of the biggest t***'s i've seen and heard to be fair he does get some shit to have to defend.

  15. Spot on, be a shame to sell him. He has bags of potential. he has to start turning the potential into talent. after a good initial season he's largely diappointed so far this.
  16. Zog needed to be sold that's without doubt, but we should have got more money for him. £8m plus Ryan Taylor would have been easier to swallow. This is a player who has pace, power, good shooting ability, and can cross. He'll do well at Wigan where he'll be first choice left wing. I'd disagree with this. He rarely finds people with his crosses and the last time he scored a goal from range was the Bolton game 18 months ago I think. He does get power and venom in his shots, but his accuracy isn't that great. He rarely finds people with his crosses because we usually only have owen in the box when the ball comes in. how many times does he look up,know theres only one player there and still hit it in,even worse when he knows theres no one there and he still plays it even when he has time.......that is deliberatly giving the ball away, the biggest sin in football.
  17. if it were that simple i'd be looking at another central midfielder and a forward rather than putting all the remaining money into veloso.
  18. that article was hilarious. when you read it completly it stated there was £100million to spend in total, that included ground development, wages etc but all people thought was £100million on transfer fees. even when i pointed the bits of the article out to people, 5 mins later they went to "Ooooooo who can we buy with £100million"
