So who do we have away ? Bruno, Trippier, Schar, Tonali, Isak?
-
Our big matches have tended to be against teams most would say have better and deeper squads. We'll be there soon.
-
I'm only disappointed in that we were leading and dominating and had a very good chance to put it beyond doubt. I'd ha e took a point before and happy that we can dominate a team like West Ham. Just need to create more against low blocks. It'll come
-
True and it's come at a good time for us.......... but its still going to seem like forever!
-
13 days until Palace. Might as well be eternity.
-
First sentence aye but West Ham a lower league team ? They’ll be upper mid table with a good shout of Europa places.
-
We win thatvwith Joelinton or Willock.
-
Would have took a point at the start but feel gutted now and feel like it's a a dropped two.
-
Tonali could and should have blocked it
-
Murphy played there before as well, however Hall isn't exclusively a full back
-
Anderson will be wide left.

Seems strong if someone gets a block in. He's still able to get past.

Subbed off 62mins.

Yeah I was on about the metro. You'd have thought west from Central would have been the way to go given the space from the old line was already there.
-
He's done OK but fluffed a one on one (soft straight at keeper), took on a ridulous chip from the bye line when probably should have held it up and shot into a crowd after cutting in when others were better placed for the lay off. Encouraging that he's getting into these positions though.

They have a point.

You always seem to be in the know with this sort of stuff. Was westwards from St James' ever really a serious consideration ?
-
Not a chance imo. I always though the Leamside to Washington would come first.

https://transitmap.net/future-visions-tyne-wear/ Maps of the "possible" metro extensions.
-
I walk it regularly, Lemington/Newburn to Wylam. Always seemed strange that the plans westward would be from St James'.
-
I was told it was there for possible future extension to the west end. Could never see it myself like.
-
Would you need a changeover track ? Eastbound trains could arrive at Monument and the driver simply changes ends on arrival and their is a changeover point between Monument and Manors if needed.
-
It's not even well used on Match day.

Wasn't it always assumed that any Gallowgate extension would incorporate the St James' metro site ? The question is whether the metro station stays or goes.
