has anyone said that ?

he didn't or he would have appointed wise as manager. they have different jobs and responsibilities. My point is that Dennis Wise would have no real clue which players we needed, much as Keegan.Wise had been operating away from top class football,ie Premier League, for as long as Keegan.Keegans advantage is that he has worked at that managerial level, old school, buy and sell the players he wants, for 10 or so years. The highest level Wise has been in a mangerial/administrative role was at Millwall. wise was suppoosedly in charge of bringing kids in,the academy set up and general scouting.

I think there's a good chance he wasn't consulted at all about Xisco and Gonzalez. And I think he's being largely ignored over who he'd like to stay, who he'd like to sign, and who he wants to give new contracts to. Keegan wants to shape his own squad. Wise and co think it's none of his business. That's what this showdown is all about, and this transfer window has brought it all to a head. based on ? I think that was Henry Winter's take on it, and it makes sense to me. What else do you think this is about other than who calls the shots over transfers? So no concrete facts or proof then? Christ, I hope that none of you lot get called up for jury duty... I hope you're being ironic. Otherwise nobody's entitled to an opinion i like opinion to be based on something. It is based on what Henry Winter wrote. have the last couple of days taught you nothing ?

depends on what remit the DoF has. -
is that a roundabout way of suggesting that he was just spoiling for a fight ?

I just think for the DOF system to work you need a manager and a DOF that both get along and share the same vision for the club. Most importantly, they have to trust each other. It would appear that this isn't the case with Keegan and Wise. Honestly not a big fan of the DOF system, so I'd be pleased for Wise to go. If Jimenez and Vetere go too I'll be disappointed though, because I do like the idea of having proper scouts, rather han just friends of KK. Ideally KK will get the final say on all things and then feel more comfortable listening to Jimenez and company, knowing he can overrule them if he isn't comfortable. is there a DOF system. often talked about with the european style but there a few over here whos jobs are massivly different from each other. gordon milne was DoF in robsons managership
-
I hope that's right tbh, if nothing else it removes one of the major threats to KK's influence. Put simply, I don't think we need a DoF. without any real proof that wise was a threat in any form. Doubt he'd be sacked if he wasn't pissing KK off tbh. for all we know keegan could be wanting rid of wise to exercise his power to someone else. very political

If true, f*cking fantastic news. agree, though wouldn't be suprised to see one or maybe two of them remain, i doubt keegan's out for all of them (then again i dont know whats gone on). keep whoever it was that found jonas and persuaded coloccini to come here

the QPR grouping make abramovich look like a pauper aswell. it means nowt if they don't spend it. better a millionaire investing half his wealth than a billionaire investing a tenner.

keegan doesn't even know who he is man....keep up.

The new system is like having a computer that thinks for you. What if it decides that you aren't needed anymore? and if you try to fight back it travels back in time to kill you as a child.
-
Why would he submit a transfer request if he didn't want to move? He wasn't in the first team and he always wanted to play for Villa after his first stint there. keegan doesn't want to sell owen. however if someone bids £20million i think he'd snap their hands off.

eh? depor's manager. spins little joke into why we are signing depor players
