even before we knew of his circumstances over the weekend everyone in the pub, including those who want rid of him, agreed he had a good game. i half think you decide on how someone plays on who they are and before a ball is kicked.

Aye, I'm happy. My team won, Bellamy was plagued by bad luck otherwise he'd have scored 4. Imagine him in our team playing alongside Martins instead of Dyer, something Newcastle fans would be over the moon about if it happened. Owen for Bellamy this summer maybe? By the way, using doesn't make it any less abusive than using the words. No need. wasn't bad luck, just thats the way it is with bellamy,he done that time and again for us.he's not a good consistent finisher. i'd rather see owen and martins first. Not a lot between Martins and Bellamy, really. different types of player, bellamy does a bit more, martins scores more, bellamy is probably at the top of his game, martins (i feel) has a lot more potential to fulfill.

Bramble was shocking in the first half. The only reason this isnt being widely acknowledged is because Bellamy failed to convert his chances. onweyu (?) won all that came his way in the air,on the ground and organisationally he looked like a player coming in froma much lower league .bramble had to cover that, notice no-one is questioning butts quietist game for a while, how we failed to narrow the midfield,or questioning why sibs wasn't brought on earlier to hold the ball up and take pressuer off the defence.

no,you didn't write much today cos we won.

ok then but whats the point, bramble played well today, you can't admit it.....while you're on admit babayaro played well......... something deep down inside you doesn't sit well cos we won today, you'll say your'e happy we won but week by week i'm guessing more and more on here on here aren't believing you,you see,i think deep down you'd rather we got beat so you could come on here gloating with an "i told you " attitude. Good response. ok then Good response. but whats the point...are you ready to say bramble and babyaro had good games.....deep down i think you're miffed we won(i know you'll deny this)cos you can't come on here with a big whinge Of course i'll deny thay, you 'tard. I thought Babayaro wasn't bad - possibly his best game for us that i can recall. Not great, not good, but not bad at all. I thought Bramble was on thin ice a number of times. He showed glimpses of why some (wrong) people think he is a Premiership player, and glimpses of why some others (including me) think he is a pile of s****. We were quite lucky today, and if we'd had GOOD players in place of these two, we might not have needed to be so much. do you have to call people when you disagree..(t'ard.wrong ) i wonder why you haven't posted about what we done well today ? ok then but whats the point, bramble played well today, you can't admit it.....while you're on admit babayaro played well......... something deep down inside you doesn't sit well cos we won today, you'll say your'e happy we won but week by week i'm guessing more and more on here on here aren't believing you,you see,i think deep down you'd rather we got beat so you could come on here gloating with an "i told you " attitude. Strange thing that despite Bellamy allegedly causing trouble everywhere very few people have anything but good to say about him. Managers and players at his clubs and international team all seem to rate him. When he left Newcastle only one player had anything bad to say, the rest all said what a great team player he was. Other than that it seems like Souness, Terry MacDermott (who had never met him) and the chairman's son were the only ones with an axe to grind. A t*** off the field maybe, but highly rated by almost everyone he's ever dealt with professionally it seems. I would love to believe in your cynicism but it is only Shepherd, Terry Mac and Souness who say otherwise. I hate to say it but if against a backdrop of every other professional who has worked with Bellamy say otherwise, I have to say, you and others in this thread come accross as complete idiots. of course we are complete idiots....nufc after all.

bout nufc....john gibsons" the newcastle united story" excellent account of the fairs cup run then some other bits. "50 years of hurt"...thought it would be just another fans memoirs but had some very insightful bits in by players and staff that were there at crucial times in the clubs recent history. harry pearson's."a far corner"...a laugh out loud book about the north east seen through football, a wylam based smoggie takes in loads of games beginning with toon V spuds, our first game in prem, for the rest of that season he takes in some crap(gateshead, crook, sunderland, bishop auckland, spennymoor, middlesboro, esh winning, etc)"
-
dunno, that could go down to the end of robsons era aswell(his last full season we "didn't win" after taking the lead more than any other prem team)
