  1. I get they'll be up for it and loads of bravado, just seems like some of them believe it.
  2. Sorry Brummie, I forgot Villa, you're in that group as well

Was it this thread about the match day music ? Anyway I'd like them to try putting it out that the music will go off 5mins prior to the teams coming out and it's up to us from then on. It worked kind of V Arsenal with wor flags getting people in early.
  4. Re the bookies. I think that's punters taking some value thinking we'll strengthen before the window shuts.
  5. https://www.forestforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/official-premier-league-matchday-thread-1-newcastle-vs-forest-6-8-22- That's the full thread. And we're deluded ? Edit. Won't load for some reason, anyway use that link, go to Forest banter and look for the match thread.
  6. I would go 11th in the league, top 6 and us being bottom of the group in behind. More so relegation should at no point be a worry is the minimum expectation. No minimum in the cups. Could easy end with with Man City or Liverpool in the early rounds.
  7. Gone for an 8 in the likeliness. See us in the group outside the top 6 looking at the last Europa spots. As it stands, West Ham, Leicester, Wolves, US maybe Palace in that group. Be interesting to see what Wolves and Leicester (and US I suppose) do with the rest of the window as they've been more stagnant than us in the Summer.
  8. Not the Sam as last season is it, you'll be Diane to watch and feel like throwing yourself off a Cliff if you can't, that would be the Norm. Get yourself a little Woody watching Eddie (Stop it, thats Frasier) Coach the lads to a win and Trippier with a Carla into the top corner from a free kick.
  9. To be fair you started it with "only way to find out is by playing him" may as well start the youth team then.
  10. Exactly. Needed developing, not thrown into the first team "only way to find out" type bollocks.
  11. How many games should you give ? What's the point in a manager if the plan is to give everyone 5, 19, 35 games to find out ?
  12. We do. He played first team. Wasn't good enough, wasnt ready and left. He should have been allowed to develop. He played too early in the first team out of our desperation.
  13. No, he wasn't ready for his chance. It's why it took him another 2 or 3 years playing at a lower level, developing.
  14. That wasn't due to not being given a chance, that was due to not (they did get first team games) being developed properly by our staff.
  15. Who knows ? The coaches etc that watch him day in day out. Maybe we shouldn't let anyone go without trying them out in the Premier league, maybe drag kids off the street "ye neva knaa" eh ?
  16. Heard it before re Brayson, Armstrong, Chopra etc etc etc. It's why some managers and coaches are better than others.
  17. They've been fluid forward and back, not so much across the pitch and to throw an inexperienced kid into that situation wouldn't help him or us.
  18. That's rubbish. Only way to find out if Darlow would make a good forward is by playing him then ?
  19. Then you have him as a 10 basically and drag Joe more centrally away from covering ASM ? Maybe in time, I'm not convinced in the short term.
  20. You can't leave it there, come on, the cats half out the bag......you've started so come on, finish.
  21. Has Anderson much experience playing right of centre ? He played left in the friendlies and I'm sure most of his Bristol Rovers highlights were left also.
  22. Also Longstaff has more legs about him for helping out against a break from a team who likes to sit deep and he has a dig from distance. This is the weakest position in our XI for me.
