  1. PIF won’t walk. They’ll not wait forever either. A few month isn't forever. They aren't making these changes to just walk away from it. and with the transfer window being put back till October, they still have plenty of time to strengthen.
  2. Just started over the last week or two. Series A has been a mainstay of the free to watch on betting sites aswell. Unlikely to be linked with the TV rights issues that BeIN are referring to then? Dont know as the betting sites may not be available in certain parts of the mid East.

  4. On the other hand the last 3 bands I've saw live and bought merchandise from Id never have heard of it wasnt for Spotify.
  5. You could flip it, and say still nothing concrete to say it isn't this week or it is close True, however I still think if it is to happen we would get a definite leak from somewhere first. A leak would just be counted as hearsay though so wouldn't be concrete would it? Not if it came from a strong source and actually said tests have been passed now down to money transfer. We have never got to that point. What would you class as a strong source ? A journalist naming someone in the PL with actual quotes ? Not going to happen. Well a journalist actually saying the words the checks are passed, which the likes of Caulkin have said from day one would come out in the press before funds are transferred. So the concrete leak you wanted has already been issued and was found not to have set.
  6. When the takeove started the first thread derailment was if CDs would force out Vinyl.

  9. I hope he's in your support bubble or you're watching outside. He is.......and its been a blissful few weeks.
  10. This on free to air anywhere (listing has the Man Utd game on pick), I'd rather not have to put up with the father in law, miserable git., for that length of time. He's the type where we can be winning 10-0 and say nowt till a misplaced pass "whey that was rubbish".
  11. Mike will be gutted he couldn't sell ASM before the takeover.
  12. If its true that they seem to he bending over backwards re piracy etc to get this through, they must be pretty bloody serious about their intent and I mean that beyond just the purchase of the club but their plans for it.
  13. Aye, but what kind of announcement? Cans or... "THE" announcement.
  14. I'm pretty sure he is wrong. Judicial review is only available of decisions made by public bodies. It is well established in case law that sports governing bodies are not judicially reviewable. See R -v- Football Association Ltd, ex parte Football League Ltd [1992] 2 All 833 And: https://www.ashurst.com/en/news-and-insights/legal-updates/judicial-review/ "The following characteristics have been considered relevant to whether an act or function can be reviewed. The "but for" test: in other words, whether, but for the existence of a non-statutory body, the functions exercised by such body would inevitably be regulated by statute. Bodies which have been considered amenable to judicial review using this test include the Advertising Standards Authority2 and the Takeover Panel3. However, the Football Association's decisions escaped review as the court held that if the Football Association did not exist, the state would not have found it necessary to perform its functions4." I may be wrong - but there's lot of reading out there on this - or may be thinking of a different judicial mechanism. Don't know who is right but if you are Greg, then could the PL just turn round and go - takeover denied because......well we can't be arsed with the hassle? Or we don't like NUFC as we love Sunderland....... and PIF wouldn't be able to legally challenge. Seems ridiculous if true I was thinking from a business point if view, they can buy the business legitimately but then the Pl could effectively hinder their trading conditions, wouldnt that be where the courts would come in ?
  15. Im with you on tomorrow but ain't predicting a time. out of interest you predicting positive or negative news?

Just watch the last episode first, makes it more worthwhile. I know we knew the ending but seeing it sets the earlier episodes up better for our point of view.
  18. We have never been anywhere near "this stage" in any proposed takeover in the past. I don't know when any announcement will be made, I have no idea at all . . . but I am certain that it will be worth the wait! We never had an official 'end' to the BZG takeover Honestly man if people think this is 'another fakeover' give your heads a shake man Yes indeed, we have NEVER been anywhere like this before. Just "relax" people and then "imagine" just how great it is going to be soon. OOPS, end of 'relax' !!!! By FGTH ?
  19. I'm starting to think we've got it the wrong way round. The Premier league want the takeover and are doing a Cummings, trying to find excuses to get round reasons why they should stop it ie piracy.
