Strangely if its passed it also highlights how corrupt and hypocritical they are.

His fence is scruffy so he bought some kerosene He said it was ugly but not ugly enough to burn the effing thing down.

I like rhe idea of it needing a response.... Pl.."We have conclusive proof of your piracy of the Bein sports channel, what is your response ?" MBS.."Look at the bank balance" PL.."Ah.....Fair does, thats good as far as we are concerned. Anything else we can do ?" MBS.."Let it play out for a little. Be nice for hairy hands......they say its the hope that gets you the worst"

People wonder why these things take time. That point there is all based on the opinion on the board, not a cold hard fact. If it's about opinions these things will be discussed at great length. Anyone know how many people at the PL will be involved in this ? No its not "the opinion on the board" there are things which are illegal in this country which aren't in other countries, that's what is meant by the no conviction bit as it would lead to a conviction here but not in some places elsewhere.

think that's what's had a few twitching aye cause it's vague af Not really. It just means if someone done something abroad that would be an offence here they could use it as such, however as we know with offences they are much less likely to be classed as such the richer you are.

I'm convinced this will fall through. Convinced by what? You're not. You think it will fall through because it's the most Newcastle thing to happen, which isn't based on anything going on right now. Well aside from us, nobody wants it. Literally every other club, pundit and fan wants this to fail. Not because its us, but because they don't want another rich club and because they genuinely don't want the Saudis involved in the league either. The piracy concerns are genuine, and that could put a spanner in the works depending on what has been handed to the PL. Likewise, the Sheff Utd conflict of interests thing could be used against us. It's pretty fucking obvious that if the PL want to block this, there's some ammunition around for them to do so. And they will be under enormous pressure from all the people listed above to do just that. I think our only hope was that it went through quickly. Now that it hasn't and that furore has gathered around it in all quarters, I think our chances diminish every day. And those days keep ticking by. I'd be delighted to be wrong, utterly overjoyed. But I am at this stage convinced this will fall flat on its face, yet another in our catalogue of times something nice nearly happened. So yeah a tiny bit "Most Newcastle thing to happen", but largely based on what I'm observing. This will fail. These are all genuine concerns, despite the majority laughing at anyone expressing these views. As you say, time will tell. The Government want it and I'd guess for financial reasons the Premier League want it. Some of the clubs probably don't so where does the power lie.

fwiw i was using it ironically You're supposed to drink them not use them ironically.

Yup. Again, the PL are not a court of law, they can't just overturn this in contradiction to a previous court ruling without evidence that they'd be absolutely certain would hold up this time in court, as that's where they would ultimately end up. Rejecting this on the basis of PIF being involved directly in piracy would be a massive and damaging allegation on their behalf, I really can't see them going down that route. The Premier League - in performing their own 'fit and proper person' test - are not in any way constrained by rulings made in French courts. The Premier League is not privy to the evidence that was or was not submitted during the case in Paris. If evidence is submitted to the Premier League that they consider compelling, then they will and are entitled to judge it on its own merits. Which could well end up in the courts. Would the PL risk that ?

Hate is such a strong word. Would detest do ?

Was nufc.nu then become HowaytheToon.com then merged with the old Toontastic then become N.O.com before .org once admin wanted nowt to do with the commercialisation of the sport, in between many betting scams, dossiers, golf course brochures and temp invisionboards after illegal fixture lists. Many wars in between that made WW1 and 2 look tame, more history than the last 1,000 years of life on earth. If anyone wants a trip down forum memory lane I've just found the list of the original gang... https://web.archive.org/web/20010217112441/http://www.nufc.nu/cgi-bin/ikonboard/members.cgi I was on .nu but must've been just after that list.

Peak clique was a few month back, I was told by one of them, there was a peak clique leak. There was a smell about it, there was a reek about the peak clique leak, I decided to look into it, a deek into the reek of the peak clique leak. I didn't look too hard though, it was a meek deek into the reek of the peak clique leak.

I did the same Me three.

I wouldn't get ahead of yourself. If you were looking to buy a club you'd know whether you wanted a new training ground etc long before even bidding. Like Mike did.
-
They probably did but their strength of denial is strong.
-
Not really, they say it to wind us up. They'd call it like it is if he were elsewhere.

My guess would be a manager has been identified.

They played well together but created nothing for the strikers. 2 great athletes who could bomb up and down all day and put a shift it, but when it came to getting the ball to anyone else it just wasn't happening. Great defender in Enrique, can't remember him getting skinned off anyone in our shirt but Jonas was 4 orb5 ft away when we had the ball.

Drove me mad many a time the two of them being social distancing when we needed more distancing. FWIW Robert/Bernard was a far better pairing, as was Beresford/ Sellars and Beresford/Ginola.
-
Fixed Well, yeah. There is that. Aaaaaaand that's bollocks. Abysmal ffs.

Its as if they were in a floating craft on a faeces strewn watercourse without any means of propulsion.

Purely anecdotal but the Mackems at work, bar one, while not going as far as being jealous, are mainly "enjoy it, I would in your position" Its the RTGers who it'll will eat up.

I wonder if there was truth in the rumour of talks with the Council re development. If there were and if its city based development for the community then it makes things more palatable. We are headed for hard times and hard time often make for odd bed fellows. Or maybe I'm thinking this to ease my conscience?

Chelsea have got progressively worse and their owner has lost interest so I’m not sure they are the best model really won 15 trophies in 15 seasons so whatever they do works At that level the only things that matter are the league and champions league.
