  1. Yep, it's unreal. The king is in the alltogether the alltogether.................
  2. Said it before, he gets cut a lot of slack for speaking up last season.
  3. Aye, didn't think so at the time but after watching when I got home it was and the ref was well positioned to see it.
  4. You're right. It was pointed out to me at the time. It didn't happen.
  5. Stifler agrees with me...........I'm on shakey ground here!
  6. Always looked better that 15yds further up in a better league.
  7. I'm not blaming him for the goal, I'm blaming him for giving away a pointless free-kick which did lead to the goal, the fault for the goal goes to Lascelles. and Diame.
  8. It wouldn't have been 3 v 1 for long as Yedlin had made up half of the ground that he was behind play from when Roofe and Colback first met on the pitch, he was way past them when Roofe was going down. It was a pathetic tackle that didn't have to be made and one that only Colback is likely to make. Watch it again and rewind to before the tackle and look at where Yedlin was, pause it again when Roofe goes down and look at Yedlin again. At that point in the game and wide open space which there was, he has to, I'd also say had Shelvey done that tackle you'd not be on like this.
  9. I've noticed him do it before and it seems to depend on how the game is going. I haven't. Can;t remember seeing our technical area untended this season.
  10. I noticed him sitting down for long spells, I just didn't read into it what you have. Unlike many I wouldn't say "this is why", just musing and saying it's a little strange wouldn't you say ?
  11. http://www.skysports.com/football/newcastle-vs-leeds/358607 Thank you. Switched off Don't even think the tackle is on there.
  12. Stretched 3 v 1? 3v1 at that point, all he'd have known was "stop the break". Where we were watchi g live even we thought it was the right choice. Have you been in to Diame thread to slag off his part in this and Lascalles ?
  13. Crikey...just a tiny little aside I thought some others may have picked up on.
  14. He was up most of the time towards the end of the game, he wasn't when we were all over them and had no reason to be. Even when we are all over teams, he's in that box. Today was the first occasion I can remember the box being, erm...vacant!
  15. No matter how we are doing he's out all the time.....till we are defending a set piece, then AND ONLY THEN does he sit down!
  16. Nah Mick. just watched it back several times and we are stretched, he breaks the play. The defending from then on is horrible
  17. Nah. Nah the tactics or the technical box stuff ? I haven't seen the technical box empty so much since he came here.
  18. Rafa spends the entire game in the technical area, until we are defending set pieces then he sits down and the taller dark haired bloke get up. Today not so much, the technical area was often empty.
  19. Thought tactically he played it spot on, much more expansive. My one worry is that he wasn't in the technical area as much, almost as if to say "there you go, that's what you want, I want nowt to do with it"
  20. Exactly, the performance, . I know it's a bit narky but do you think if we'd pushed this expansive performance a while earlier we'd be better positioned and more enertained ? More entertained yes, but better positioned probably not. Our squad is limited in quality and this season is long and tough. On top of that he needs to prepare everyone for next season. IMO his approach is exactly right. I don't buy the "prepare for next season" stuff as the spine will/ought to be different, he changes tactics regularly though not formation (this week long diagonals, next week down the channels all the time) and we have got to the point where at home, we have become predictable ?
  21. If he had the slightest thing about him he would have broke the attack with a clean tackle, he's a shocking footballer. He is but on this occasion he couldn't. No way could he have made it. I think your Colback geps have you there.
  22. Exactly, the performance, . I know it's a bit narky but do you think if we'd pushed this expansive performance a while earlier we'd be better positioned and more enertained ?

    Isaac Hayden

I wouldn't say he was outstanding but he gives us more balance.........git forward more (I know the gaffertells you not to but hell, you'd be better for it)
  24. Would we all agree we were a lot more expansive today, more movement etc ?
