Yep me too, I'm amazed at how many even on here are saying how stupid he was and how it was a certain red. It's far from it. By todays standards it is a sending off. Same should have applied to Lansbury though as he did the same thing. Normally the ref will baulk at the double sending off and warn or book both.

Some refs love to be up against that with "stuff you's" attitude. We (the crowd) need to be at their team, booing, whistles etc whenever they have tyhe ball. Should be doing that against all opposition really.

Yes the Yedlin cross was a penalty, you can't have your arms out that far when not trying to create momentum and claim ball to hand. Shelvey was a red but will there be any retrospective on Lansbury as he kicked out first. Dummet's wasn't even a foul. Now fast forwarding to Rafa. Oh can someone direct me to the guidelines for this double jepardy rule that wasn't applied to Dummet. I'd like to see the actual wording.

As much as I think Hayden is the better player I'd put Colback in alongside Shelvey. Darlow Anita Clarke Lascalles Dummett Ritchie Shelvey Colback Atsu Gayle Mitrovic Dummet is the wooly one, could easily be Gamez or Lazaar.

Do you think we are getting the most from the squad we have ? I think we're getting more than the vast majority of managers would like. These same conversations happened after the first 2 defeats of the season, and again after Wolves. Everyone suddenly thinks they're a football manager and tells us what's wrong, then Benitez goes on a near record breaking winning streak. Ritchie and Gouffran are basically hard grafters, neither provides much flair or pace. I think you have to have at least one wide player to provide that. Ritchie made his name would good quick deliveries to players who were ready, we don't play that way.

Don't agree They are too similar imo. We need to sign another midfielder who is willing to break into the opposition box more. They aren't too similar but they don't seem to be complimentary either.

We had two good chances just before we scored, hit the bar with one of them. We had other chances in the game as well. For instance Gayle getting through in the first half and could have scored, Diame header right in front of goal and should have scored, I'm sure there were more. Not sure if Hull even had more than one shot on target.. All of those chances were in ET, not normal time. No they weren't.

Went to the beam back, as much for a night out as owt else. Not too fussed with the result as it's unlikely we'd get through the semis and the confidence knock if that happened could do much harm. Also the distraction would be too much, like it seemed to be last weekend.
