aye but for different reasons I suspect. I think Krul is finished at this level should we stay up, Darlow has potential and Elliott shouldn't be a first choice even though he's done well. So that's a centre half, goalkeeper, left back and centre forward for the first team no matter what level we are at to have a balanced first XI.

Did you watch Saturday ? edit...and Southampton...Norwich even the mackems ?
-
Maybe the difference between being there and not (I wasn't there tonight or on Saturday fwiw). Sometimes the atmosphere is ok at the ground but doesn't come over on the tele, sometimes it's the other way round. I do remember that game though( the 0-2 at the end of the season) and it was one of the better atmospheres that season.

Be interesting what sort of team they put out. They will go al out tomorrow V Everton then us before the Europa semi. Expect a weakened team from them ?
-
He is but I think he had a point when towards the end (like the free kick that Dummett took 4mins into injury time) we could/should have committed a bit more.
-
Not godawful but in keeping...the Aguero pen. Ref had it spot on. See them given all the time when a defender gets in front and the forward makes contact and hits the deck (even legitimately, not the dying swan style).

This is the worst part of the call. It wasn't like he just moved into that position, he had been in an off side position for ages, and makes no attempt to get back on side. Can almost see how surprised he is when he looks back at the linesman after the goal. Agree with bigfella and Mick on the penalty situation. He leaves his leg in so much it's almost a free kick to us because he kicks Mbemba. Would have been furious (but not the least bit surprised, obviously) if that was given. And the excuse given was the Lino might have thought Toure headed it. Two things about that, firstly the lino should have seen all the players going to Aguero and secondly, and most importantly. Aguero moved back into the same area, heading it or not that should be given offside. It's just a rank bad decision. Not really an excuse, just a host waffling and trying to create talking points.

Both teams need a win. We'll draw to send everyone home miserable. It's the Newcastle way.
-
Remember when we were 'close' to signing Alli ? If he'd come here he'd now be on loan at Bristol City.

Spurs are a far superior side IMO. Lost twice to Leicester. I reckon Spurs win the title as the nerves get to Leicester but if Spurs don't win it - they'll have lost it because they lost to Leicester twice. They did lose twice right? and to us, deservedly so aswell.

Eh ? It's on live as you say on USA network and we have that channel, watched 30secs of NCIS this afternoon to make sure we got it.
-
Its live on the 'USA (eastern) Channel' @ 10am Saturday in Florida, so might even be on somewhere much nearer where you are staying (as this is not really a sport/football channel). Probably channel 32 or somewhere around there on cable. USAnetwork.com have it listed on their schedule. oh well that's just dandy! Just when we decided not to watch you tell us it's on there, I double check and we can watch at the hotel pool bar. No option but to put ourselves through it now have we ?

You should probably go there; probably best. Few of the other places are now closed. I also live in Orlando, fyi. Cheers. You should probably go there; probably best. Will do if we can't find anything over the next day or so. Ain't done I drive yet so that may be Saturday.
-
Cheers Ron. May be taxi as driving may not be an option drink wise. Least it seems like it'll be on . Any closer would be helpful anyone.

Any idea where in Orlando (based in Buena Vista) to watch this ?

Imagine if we survive. We'll be shitting it all summer that he'll walk because Ashley has pulled the rug from under him. Totally agree with your sentiment though. Ashley wouldn't have appointed him in the first place if that was tne case. You reckon ? Keeps us up. Has all the club onside, his stock is high, pushes for more than Ashley will go for. Benitez is holding a great hand at the moment and we know how well Ashley plays his.

I was reading earlier on here a post for an LFC fan and Benitez fan about how he sets his teams up etc and his 4-2-3-1. Very similar to what we've done all season but this is where managers get found out (or prove their worth). I want to see, if Mitrovic starts much better support, some playing the ball blind in behind the oppositions full backs from Mitrovic, much better organisation defensively.

It isn't the hope that kills it's having no hope that kills. Hope kills. Having no hope is being dead!

re Sissoko, true to a point. He never recreated that energy form his debut, even weeks later he'd never come close.
