he'll get injured or arrested when away with France wont he ?
-
not often I agree with wullie but we were both screaming for us to get him when he was on loan at bolton.
-
say what ? Play him on the right or in the centre and he'll be class but I don't rate him as an orthodox winger - especially against a team strong on the flanks such as Everton. His footballing philosophy isn't as simple as bombing down the wing and smashing it in the box - which he was asked to do. The best balance is Remy on the left and Hatem on the right - Coleman had the measure of him all night and I think most right backs would've - stick him on the other flank and he'll torture the best full back in the world. don't know wjat he was asked to do V everton, whatever it was he didn't do it, following on from crap against hull. I'd be surprised if it's not just those recent games but also in training.

technically, as shareholdings go, it's more theirs than ours I think.

interesting move mind, one goal up, last few minutes, bring off a worker to bring on a player supposedly dropped for not working enough.
-
thought we dominated them in the first half and could easily have been another couple of goals up.
-
only saw the first half and didn't think they looked too bad.

watched the game in a local pub, the feed must've been 2 or 3 mins behind so a shout went out "one nil, remy" lead to mass checking of phones to confirm, then 30secs of watching, waiting for us to get the ball, then near hysteria when we got the ball "go on remy, shoot", go on, GO ON!", then the "spontaneous" celebration as he scored. rarely felt happier with football than at that moment, loads of us as one in on a joke that was instantly understood and followed through. the joy of football, it's rarely about the result, thew wittering on about tactics etc, it's best point boiled down to that 2minutes.

RTG saying it was on red cafe.

rooney RVP fellaini and anderson all out apparently.

he possibly thought ben arfa wouldn't have the workrate to stop baines and might get some joy on the other side. before anyone slags it off too much it's been tried before at goodison by keegan with gillespie and ginola playing on the "wrong" wings in shearers debut.

bet he doesn't read newcastle online, aint that right alan, I mean brett, I mean err, good night.
-
theres a 4th finger post, NUFC. not quite any of the other 3.
-
agree with that. I don't mind ben arfa on the left but in that game he had to prioritise the right to give bainesw a reason to think about not pushing up and if he did then exploit the gap he leaves.

Pointless playing him anywhere else and Pardew should know that really.... seems he doesn't however. not sure I agree. he had as crap a game on the left as he did on the right the previous week. He's proven he can perform on the right though.... outside of his debut he's been nothing but s*** on the left and overall just looks uncomfortable. how many times has he played on the left of a forward 3 ? personally rather have him drift with another off a cisse circa 2012

what failed ? good away win, good 20mins at home and it still hasn't settled yet. was everton a midfield 3 ?

I was at that Bolton game and saw the concrete being thrown down to our right. I was in the seats above their paddock at Bolton, (right hand side if looking from the pitch). there were blokes in with us jumping into the bolton end in 2's and 3's and fighting their way down to the fence where the coppers would drag them out and dump then into the newcastle standing section. one bloke went on his own and just ended up pinning some bolton lad against the fence while the two of them got kicked and punched for a minute or so till the coppers dragged both out with the bolton fan fighting with the law to get back into their end.

had lots of bother with their fans, the standard (and this has been commented on by fans of other clus aswell) liverpudlian tactic of behaving like your best friends till they have you massively outnumbered then launching bricks and bottles etc. also they possess one of the worst accents in the country.

I remember alan gowlings every movement being awkward. he made carlton palmer look frictionless.

the game in question is on youtube if anyone is interested. gerry gow looks like einstein.
