  1. the truth will be somewhere between the two.
  2. isn't some of that down to the idea that it's easier to make money if you have money to start with ?
  3. any tables on how much tv money gets paid to each club ? and how much they'd get if it were evenly distributed ? Awful quality, but the best I've found: http://img854.imageshack.us/img854/9403/j1i.jpg It averages to €30m with equal distribution. As I said, Barça and Madrid would be brought down two or three notches, but those extra €18m per year would make very little difference to Racing's €150m+ debt for example. And Atlético and Valencia would be even worse off. could go either of two ways, the league gets more competitive and real, barce can't just hoover up the talent which could increase revenues for the others, or because barce, real aren't the two biggest clubs in the world anymore so no one gives a toss about the league anymore and the arse drops out of it. as a fan who possibly wouldn't support one of those two if I was in spain i'd be willing to take the risk.

  5. horses for courses, i've always preferred the open spaces. there was a time when half my mates lived in London and visiting them was OK (great to see them etc) but the place left me cold. more bands to see but i'm not a fan of seeing bands for the sake of it, they have to be my faves. London does have it's advantages but so close to the coast, so close to the cheviots and lakes edges it for me. maybe because i've been brought up here but Newcastle is just about right size wise for me. small enough to walk easily, but still big enough to be anonymous in. I've had the choice on a few occasions to move down south and there just wasn't enough in it for me.
  6. basically if everyone thats in starts with £50 or £100 for example, wagers have to be posted in advance and people keep their own tally. should be easy enough to check back on anyone.
  7. how ? he gave the ball directly to an opponent about 25yds out.

is it ? hadn't we agreed on 10mill last january and if anything he's proven himself in the premier a bit. 8m QPR paid i think that's my basis for it being unlikely and his buyout clause being the same. will his clause still be active if,after a season loan, QPR are back in the prem ? Surely we could just activate the clause in January? it may be just for the close season.

This is from the same clubs fans who sang about him pi**ing himself while he was alive and then came and laid shirts/scarves at SJP when he died. And we're the hypocrites eh? Although to be fair to some on there they did say a lot of the quotes were out of order. standard RTG tactic of tell a lie often enough, some will believe it.

which is why so few rape cases make it to court and many rapes go unreported.
  19. no matter how well someone played for us i couldn't have a soft spot for them if they are clearly such a massively deluded twat.

Tony Fernandes ‏@tonyfernandes 19h I predict 4 more players will leave Qpr. 2 more will leave on Loan next week as we want to keep them for future. But more to go. Lets see. So the team will be working their cods off to get promoted, only to watch the big names come back from loan to take their places in the Premiership. I wonder if Fernandes has learned anything. A team has to be united. tbf if they play well and get replaced they've only done their reputations good for better terms on new ceontracts/transfers.
  21. statement of fact rather than unpopular opinion.
  22. absolutely fantastic when at arsenal, moved up and didn't make it. be very intersting if he has any desire when,if he moves on.

While what you put makes sense, just think about who our manager is. Shola RW, Cisse RW, hoofball to Cisse etc. Is it so far fetched ?. I know, dude. I'm holding onto the fact that when Ba left and Gouffran/Sissoko came in we used far less hoofball. I have to admit i do think Pardew is going to give keeping the ball and playing better a go, my worry would be if we lose a few games he'll return to percentage stuff. not sure he will (not sure it wasn't down to the players lack of movement last season aswell). putting last season down to the ba thing and after that having a disjointed (beyond cisse no one natural player at getting into the box from their position) team. i doubt pardew is strong enough a manager to make so many players to go against the grain and not do things like use space that is there.
  24. would real madrid consider using ronaldo in a withdrawn no.9 like messi ? (i'm sure ronaldo played through the middle sometimes at man utd)
