  1. i'd guess pardew knows he's best there but in lat seasons situation he was the most likely to get in behind cisse, hence pushing him further forward out of necessity.
  2. This He's the only Premier League footballer I've seen take a corner with one foot, then take another with the opposite. pretty sure shola could do that, admittedly on both occasions the ball would roll forward about 3ft then out of play but hey ho.

He won't score if he gets s*** service like Cisse did last season. the service cisse got wasn't too great last season but many forwards would have made better from it. I'm allowing papisse that as his bad year.
  4. really want to beat these. I know very little about them but whenever I have had a bet involving they have cost me money. (them, kalmar, standard liege, liverpool...shit be upon them)

I don't know it's a strange one. Sometimes I hear Muslims don't drink alcohol but then I see them out on the town throwing back tequila slammers and snorting coke. It's so strange how they all act different as if they were individuals. it's like some christians are ok with gay marriage, some aren't. in this case though the stance taken by one is easily shot at. edit, I agree with the missing bit of your post about it possibly looking like an excuse to get out (like n'zogbia and insomniagate). there were rumours a little while back when it kicked off about it not really being him but pressure exerted on his family back in senegal, was this ever chacked out ?

Nobbyohnobby. Wonga are pussycats compared to Barclays whom he has no objection to.

Flipping heck McCormick, I watched a documentary on Islamic banking and done a little research and never once did it say a little bit usury is ok, but just a little. Also as for the virgin do islamic mortgages aswell argument, that counts for little, like the animal liberation front saying McDonald's is ok cos they do salads aswell.

Brummie...not to mention that even should he not wear a wonga sign, he'd still be wearing a Barclays one. You know the mis-sellers and libor fixers.

It smells similar to n'zogbias reason for wanting to leave. Shite excuse, but it beats asking for a transfer (and saves money)

kanoute only lasted a couple of games before wearing the logo and that was in spain where the rules may be different, who knows if he was told he had to. what I mean about the can of worms is , lets say a club is sponsored by carlsberg and some players object to that on religous grounds, others object to the barclays logo similarly while others object to the kit makers logo as they abuse the laws on child labour or even because they have been paid by another manufacturer. edit....online I can only find that kanoute wore a blank top, possibly that he blanked it out himself, not one with a charity on but thats just after a quick search, may be wrong.

should have ripped the barclays logo off his top last season then.

on the other hand you could say if he refuses to wear the strip then he is refusing to play. would the premier league allow him to not wear the logo when everyone else does and what can of worms would that open ?

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/newcastle-force-papiss-cisse-train-2051444 someone tell him about barclays and virgin money that he seemed quite happy with last season.
  17. are you after wingers as in wide in a middle 4 ? I'd much rather a forward whose comfortable pulling wide as opposed to a winger as part of last seasons problem was cisse being isolated in the box and playing ben arfa in a middle 4 is a waste of his talent. unlesss you're thinking of a 4-2-3-1 which with "wingers is basically a 4-4-1-1. all IMO of course.
  18. why not have all 3 of anita, cabaye and sissoko all defending, picking the ball up off the defence and using space to further the play and getting forward if and when they can, reading off each other when they have the chance to go and when to stay ? 1 attacking, 1 defensive and 1 doing a bit of both stinks of a computer game type set up.
  19. one of a 3, allows him to move wide aswell as the game allows.

yeah i'd heard of altidore aswell. wouldn't have been too impressed if we'd got him.

did i miss where you kiss and hold her tightly ?

I honestly can't say if they are good or not. I'd only heard of the italian (has he signed ?) but didn't really know much about him., whereas i knew quite a bit about debuchy, cisse, sissoko, cabaye, mapou, when we signed them.
  23. has anyone worked out if the PEA bid happened ? were we just in the loop as some reports say or as others say did we bid more than dortmund ?
  24. I look at our players and think we need one player (forward to play around cisse) to have a very good team and a decent bench with everyone fit (if a bit short after that). last season we were massively disjointed ,pardews fault till ba left, then with remy falling through and aubameyang bid turned down it left us that position short and trying things to cover it that didn't work.
