  1. does little off the ball. it'll come.
  2. don't see how it's unfair on west brom but agree with the rest. the loan system is crap and needs changing but it will stay as it is while it gives some clubs the ability to hoover up talent.
  3. You can see that we are not used to having any depth as we instantly start to move players out of their preferred positions. given n'zogbia wanted to play centre midfiled i'd much rather play players where they do best for us as opposed to where they want.

    LOL at Lolro

i'll settle for that every week.

That second one's made up. may have been, however i remember woodgate playing at wolves, first game back from injury, shouldn't have played and was as bad as i've seen a centre half play for us in the prem.

i remember him getting bergkamp subbed at SJP at half time (maybe even before) as he just beat him to every single ball.
  7. He is always going to be a key for us. Such a class player. steady on. this could be the new player bounce as he never seemed so good in france, long may it continue but it's too early to come out with that sort of stuff. (unlike sissoko/mapou who showed in france to some extent what they were about)
  8. and thats a lot of money for a 27yr old. can't see fergie paying it (he's only really speny on van persie over 25yrs for a long time and we can all see why), wenger may in his dying throws when he's panicing. PSG could be more of a worry.

    Steve Carney

nice fella, always seemed to have more times for the fans than others (often happens witrh those that come into the pro game late), especially given his 'robustness' on the pitch

my memeory of bramble is (till his last few months) coming out of grounds saying he done 99% of everything right and still cost us the game.
  11. Cheers ta! thats posh jesmond though, the council sees to it thery get the best of everything. scotswood's under 4ft, walker had a hurricane and newbiggin hall's been in drought since '76.
  12. rumours last summer that man utd were quoted 21mill plus tom cleverly.
  13. very ropey against forest, very good at maritimo, good at man utd but possibly at fault for one of the goals, thats all i can remember about him.
  14. you want santon and debuchy to stay back when we are attacking ?
  15. given krul and ben arfa are out/wont start, i'd like to see... elliot debuchy m'biwa saylor santon cabaye anita gouffran sissoko marveaux cisse expecting to see...... elliot debuchy saylor colo santon cabaye tiote gouffran sissoko jonas cisse
  16. Supermac in the semi V Burnley. Could be front and back of t-shirt. Front being our half and terry hibbitts pass, the back being the continuation of the pass and the finish. in a similar vein man utd fans may like a similar for beckhams against wimbledon.
  17. That would be terrible news, also though getting a call up would be a great honour for him and having a geordie in the squad would b super. He will probally learn from playing with the likes of cole and... wait just cole. He needs to stay fit anyway to prove he can be a consistent starter so we can rely on him the club needs to work out if he's been unlucky with injuries or is injury prone.
  18. "amid fears", "up to"...could be worst case scenario speaking.
  19. burnt by the jocks in the 15th century, twice.
  20. he's gone from being on crutches to now being on crutches AND a protective cast. he'll have lost a limb and had a perm by the time he reaches the airport.

    Alan Pardew

there was a little bit of the match when someone was down injured and all you could here was, i guess it was pardew "COLO...COLO...COLO...COLO...COLO...COLO....COLO...COLO...COLO...COLO....COLO" and i guess colo just thought "fack eem, eef I no go home I no leesen to eem"

    Shola Ameobi

Shearer Debatable. Fatt Le Tits? West Ham RB years ago was good. Ray ......... You thinking of Julian Dicks? He was a LB though... Anyway, Shola. Thought he did roughly nothing tonight but he is a fantastic penalty taker. ray stewart (as alluded to) was good penalty taker aswell iirc.

    Alan Pardew

i'm not so sure it was a concious decision to go defensive after we scored. i just don't think we are caspable at the minute of being good enough on the ball to play games out when teams are coming right on at us. could well come as the players get more used to each other.
  24. as was carl serrant, whats your point ? Two seasons of watching Raylor and Santon, it was nice to see a natural LB, and a good one at that. And you knew exactly what i meant. Watch your letterbox the hard bit for me was deciding between serrant, wayne quinn or jason drysdale God, didn't Dalglish sign about four LB's serrant was keegans, that was after keegan (as player) tipped john ryan for england. Dalglish signed serrant. oh well, the rest is right.
  25. thought he done ok defensivly but a full backs job is so much more these days.
