  1. That's typical of any young player who doesn't live up to his initial hype really. They're always shunted out on loan quite a bit.
  2. Fuck off you daft cunt, this story was actually true.
  3. What makes this even more baffling is the Sunday Sun did print a 'retraction' of sorts in a later edition, which was basically a small piece about the club confirming both Ashley and Llambias were actually away when the Sunday Sun said they were. Ashley and Llambias must be on the blob. They're in full blown "It's not what you said, it's the way you said it" mode
  4. It's a nothing story from what is a bit of a joke of a newspaper. True or untrue I can't see how this story deserves shutting the door on an entire publication given some of the stuff published nationally about every club. It just looks as if it's Ashley flexing his muscles to try and scare off similar stories from other publications. Unfortunately for the Sunday Sun he's picked on what he believes to be the smallest newspaper.
  5. How many Jews are there? Joke before someone goes mental
  6. Gives them more of an excuse to just make shite up.
  7. http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/7587/burtonwk6.jpg "Just got off the phone to Scott Wiseman's agent and he tells me his £150,000 deal to MK Dons is on. There you go, Sky Sports exclusive for you."
  8. Great to see him score last night. It actually made the result slightly more palatable.
  9. I like Adidas as a brand but I get the feeling they've been phoning it in the past few seasons. We haven't had a nice kit since the 01-03 home shirt. That said I don't have much faith in Puma to do any better.
  10. The nufc.com slant on the Solano story is f@ckin ridiculous - but sadly quite typical of them nowadays. An ex player trains with old club - a pretty common occurence. Somehow (to suit their agenda) they've twisted it to this now being the club's policy on future signings, asking if it will be Dyer, Cort and Alan Foggon next ? I guess in that case Arsenal will be making moves for Tony Adams, Alan Smith and Charlie George in the coming days. I'm not too happy with .COM nowadays but that is nit picking of the highest order.
  11. I can't find that quote attributed to NUST. It originated on True Faith who were reporting on the NUST. http://www.true-faith.co.uk/tf/features.nsf/ab283684d03f231d80256b520047d321/05f16bc3fb51dd0e80257669007c3eba?OpenDocument Nice one Bob. You people are hard work sometimes. It's on the NUST website. Click under 'Read more about the campaign'. It's on the launch article from 9th November. Fifth paragraph down. http://www.nust.org.uk/the-ultimate-protest-confirmation-of-launch-of-the-yes-we-can-campaign Whey provide a link yourself in future. Even with the whole quote in google there's no returns of the NUST website. Verbatim from the article Bob mentioned "It is believed that this is the first stage of a 6 week campaign including advertisements, the opening of an advice shop in central Newcastle and the unveiling of high profile backers." Happy? As NUST have already admitted the six week campaign was 'wrong' I've no idea of the point you're trying to prove.
  12. Stick Jonas on there and you're not far off. I hope he has a good World Cup so we can flog him and bring in something with a vaguely creative streak. Wasn't hard to leave him off the list. Not hard to leave any of them off the list tbf, with the exception of Enrique. And Harper.

  15. It's always been a bit vague, but it seems that 'backers' have morphed into 'partners' and now into 'advisers'. Presumably 'mates' is the next step. Read the first email, it clearly says ADVISORS hence why i posted this to stop anyone talking bollocks, well done on managing to fail to understand it. It still wont stop some the NO anti-NUST brigade trying to make it into some form of conspiracy. To be honest I'm more concerned that they are using accountants from Leeds. Think of the petrol money being spent on the A1. I'm sure that there must have been at least one Geordie accountancy firm willing to do the work (tongue firmly in cheek) Hentons is a Sage Business Partner. http://www.hentons.com/services/sage-support/index.html Dunno if that's relevant, but Sage have been mentioned in this thread before. Partner? Or do you mean advisor? Two completely different things, HF. Click the link. It's a word for word quote from their website. I was having a laugh at the expense of the spastics.

  17. That's the problem with using words. They can be taken to mean different things depending on the context and who is reading them. They don't seem to know this so can we really trust them to run a football club? How can they expect us to happily hand over money to them? It's totally unprofessional. If they spoke Esperanto they wouldn't have this problem.

  19. Apparently Souness had all the time in the world for the fans. A lovely bloke away from football. Unfortunately he was a cunt in the dressing room and a spastic of Ronaldo proportions on the touchline.
  20. Aye fair point. Roeder was supposedly a nice guy but was anything but (imo). Hughton's actually a nice guy. Roeder was fantastic entertainment if nowt else. Can anyone else remember the press conference after the West Ham match where they'd took the piss out of his tumour and he conducted almost all of it in the third person? "Glenn Roeder stands on his own two feet, does Glenn Roeder"
