Hard to know what everyone was thinking but I think the general feeling was Ritchie, Diame (at the time!!!) and Gayle were perceived as the best bets while Lazaar, Atsu, Yedlin, Gamez, Hayden, Murphy, Clark, Hanley were the "meh"s or at best "we'll see"s.

Harsh but fair.

I hope he means Sir Charles if only to replace Ando. "That shot was turrible."

Not disagreeing but even in this age of ever increasing sky money/fees/wages, there are still a class of clubs that will have to pay a premium just because of who they are. Stones to City being a prime example of them having to pay way over the odds because of who they are.

all of them, probably?

sigh. I guess I'll start hoping again, then.

I am having a boring evening as well. Your Mitro sub row looks way off. Quick rundown from nufc.com's match reports shows nowhere near 25 sub appearances. Brought on when trailing ======================== Wolves - down 0-2, lost 0-2, didn't score Norwich - 2-3 became 4-3. didn't score @Nottingham Forest - down 1-2, lost 1-2 already down to 9(!!) men, didn't score Sheffield Wednesday - down 0-1, lost 0-1, didn't score @Sheffield Wednesday - down 2-0, lost 2-1, didn't score @Ipswich Town - down 2-1, lost 3-1, didn't score. Brought on when winning ======================== @Villa - ended up drawing, didn't score @Rotherham - maintained lead, didn't score Ipswich Town - already up 3-0, didn't score @Leeds - already up up 2-0, didn't score Birmingham City - already up 4-0, didn't score Nottingham Forest - already up 3-1, didn't score @Cardiff City - already up 0-2, didn't score Brought on when drawing ======================== Aston Villa - Gayle off in 33', 0-0, wound up winning 2-0. Didn't score Not exactly "impact sub" material tbh.

How come your played column says 46 all season when it adds up to 57?

Who the fuck sneaks red wine in you loon

If Rafa gets his way i can't see that not being the case tbh. The mere fact he wanted a CM and winger in January means he knows we need both, plus it's obvious to pretty much everyone we don't have a 10 fit for purpose. Probably worth giving One Lung another punt tbh. Aye, into the Tyne. Why has he only played half of PSV's games? Injured? Sounds like he got rested/rotated a lot. 10 starts, 9 games off the bench and 13 games as 'unused sub'.

Solid 3. +5 for securing promotion and for rafa -1 for never being able to fully enjoy anything while Ashley is in charge. -1 for not walking it undefeated

Newcastle United lose Judicial Review against HMRC

Doesn't sound like you have, but you definitely have paperwork relevant to the investigation. It did sound like someone at HMRC laid out two options and they went with #2 1) go the slower route of requesting all documentation through formal channels, run the risk of someone in the org being in on it and tampering/destroying evidence 2) surprise raid the offices at dawn -

Strange how sometimes immediately professing your innocence makes you sound shadier. -
Despite their surnames starting with the same letter, however, they are not related.

He's one of the main reasons we were relegated, how can that be a great signing? Main reasons we were relegated, i don't want him back but you seriously can't be that thick. We had a multitude of issues above Sissoko. I'm thick?, you need to look in the mirror. The lad was a permanent fixture in our side and supposed to be one of our main attacking threats and scored one goal. If that isn't one of the main reasons we were relegated than f*** me what was? Stop being thick. You should know it was all Colback's and Mitro's fault. This but unironically.

We have Siem "Iron Man" de Jong coming back anyway. Why would we need a backup #10?

knitting my rafa out scarf on the back of this unsubstantiated rumour.

Sounds like he hasn't got a clue himself and is just spewing random shit. Allardyce is the common factor! Yeah ok. 10 years ago Pardew was managing West Ham as well? edit: 11 years ago apparently.
