What evidence do you have that 35m was part of their scheme - and more importantly that their scheme includes routine blockbuster sales like that - and not just something that pushed the return to financial solvency timetable ahead by a few years?

Oh god I forgot Alan Smith is fucking off

the last six trophyless years have all been a setup to this ultimate fan-troll.

Hoping for 4th and then a 90'+6' Arsenal own goal. The shockwave of gooner hearts breaking would be enough to free Zod from the phantom zone.

It's a tough one. I would say that at the risk of loosing stability, I would prefer them to stay. Edit: sorry doesn't answer your question... I reckon the fact that he is investing in the future and youth, coming to the games, and generally looks happy enough (visually ) with the current situation and future prospects....he is here to stay for a number of years! He's walking into a stadium named after his brand, plastered with adverts for his brand, and thinking about all the earpits and eyeballs drinking in that sweet advertising. You'd be smiling too.

I agree too. If Pardew was world class and getting the best out of this group week in and week out we'd probably be neck and neck with Spurs in 3rd. As it stands he's a middling to good manager with us in 6th who has seen his team beaten for pace and on the counter after playing a high line for half the year and has adjusted with a more defensive mindset to consolidate position. This is an overcorrection and I don't know if he'll ratchet it back or not. He is not - I repeat he is not - the anti-christ. I'm pretty sure of that.

How happy are you with our current management?

Hope Michael Alan likes his name. -
Genius that.

horseshit, really? I catch about a third of their games so fair enough I might have missed some bad games but he's never looked horseshit edit: or just relatively horseshit? I'm an unapologetic fanboy either way.

I know I profess my Ozil mancrush every few weeks and restate how I'm shocked he didn't cost Carroll money, but goddamn. And Higuain + Ronaldo is just ridiculous.

Unbelievable! also I think the stat is never as a spurs manager?
-
Agreed, he should sit in a giant puffy Wenger jacket and watch the game like a depressed vulture

Any level of derision and scorn is acceptable so long as you preface it with "I'm of course happy that we're in sixth, but" because that makes it objective and unbiased.

On the contrary, if we set the team up to pass the ball I think we'd see many similar performances in the first 45 mins as well. You're talking about changing a lot of variables, I'm saying if HBA was in in place of Raylor from the start, and given the intensity (and the rest of our teams lack of) in the 1st half it wouldn't have been as sparkling, whereas 2nd half they were either sedated or MoN told them to sit back more and everyone on the pitch was getting more time and space.

Would have been destroyed in the 1st half imo. Night and day attitude for the scum when they turned out 2nd half and of course the sending off helped him. Not taking away from a great performance but I don't think it's reasonable to suggest he would have had the same impact in the 1st half against 11.

go on and win this fucking win this lads plenty of fucking time and you may get to live after that first 60 minutes

Slays me to hear the commentary. David Pleat: "No, not for me. That newcastle player clearly jumped in the way of the Sunderland players bullet. At worst a yellow for the man in black and white."
