At least Ferguson and Ranger looked decent.

Still think he's quality and an upgrade.

Glad I turned to Arsenal - WBA and missed the 4th because I don't need an aneurysm.

I really really think Tiote will get a 2nd yellow in this game if he continues :-[ . Would take him off, put Ranger on, take campbell off, put gutierrez on and just go for broke for 45 minutes. Simpson - Willow - Colo - Ferg Barton Nolan Jonas Loven Ameobi Ranger

Still chuckling at the vehement arguing that it was even a possibility.

Not sure how I feel about injured players at a night club. On the one hand I feel like I should be angry because they're supposed to be healing and alcohol impairs that and clearly not in the best interests of the club, on the other hand I know that I don't always act 100% in accordance with my own employers wishes and getting really upset about this would make me a hypocrite, because it's not whether you earn 50k/yr or 50k/wk the principle is the same. Classic mind games from Pardew like. Expect them all to be fit and starting.

Is Mike Ashley the worst person ever to have been associated with NUFC?

No. -
hahahahaha, i'm not talking about a contract clause you muppet No one was talking to you, twatbarn

hahahaha, a "Must start when fit" clause. A close third to "moon landing was faked" and "lizard people control our media" for least believable crackpot theories, surely. Pardew probably likes Taylor. I'm sure he trains hard. He's obviously willing to adopt other positions to play and does so enthusiastically. He'll be here until he's 35.

Never had a good spell at right back then? Not sure what qualifies as a good spell. I honestly don't recall a very long stretch of games where he was consistently played there. He played on the right side of a back 3 semi-regularly for the England U-21's - obvioulsy not in a RB role there but that's as close as I can recall to him being regularly played on the right of any formation. But he's a CB pure and simple. I'm not questioning his dedication or effort or willingness to try for the team or anything. But he looks way more than "slightly" out of position there on the right and I don't think he has the ability to make a good one. That he had a bad game at RB today isn't as much down to him as it is Pardew putting him there.

A disgrace I've been trying to put to death the myth that he's a capable (forget "good") right back for two years on this board, if not longer; it's not a knee-jerk from me. Hopefully this game has done that job for me.
-
Bolton 5-1 surely. This is disappointing but hardly end of the world.
-
So has the myth of Steven Taylor being even a passable right back been put to death yet? Mistake by Pardew, definitely.

why did I delete that
