With his delivery he would be perfect for Dyche.
-
Would rather have him as a third choice RB/RCB but if we can get a decent fee for Trippier I guess I'm fine with it.

Are there any logical reasons for these red flags? Buying good players you know the best seems pretty far from a red flag to me.

You watch a football match followed by ice hockey and it's hard to comprehend how different the culture is. You can be legit fouled in ice hockey but the refs send both to the penalty box if the guy fouled is seen to go down too theatrically. Or optionally you get punched in the face for being a soft cunt. Meanwhile pundits in a football studio can justify anything if there was the slightest touch between two adult males who are professional athletes.

They are not going to sell many papers or 'farm engagement' by saying they don't know shit about what's happening. Football journalists are a bit of relics from the past, club's aren't telling their plans to anyone in 2024 but they have to keep constantly typing as it's their job.

Think Elanga's past as a Man U reject sours many people. Wouldn't be a fan personally, he would be an improvement in short term but seems like the type we would be hoping to get rid of in 2-3 years when the real purple arrives. At least he's still young but can't see his ceiling being high enough to be a starter for a team trying to finish in top 4.
-
I don't really care how good he becomes. Points deduction could've been devastating to us and forcing us to sell the real purples at cut prices next January or summer. It's sad that selling him was the best option to deal with that but that is how it played out in the end.
-
Yeah, it's just too harsh. If Mitchell or Howe were asked for updates all summer they would've got most of them wrong. How could the journalists know concrete info before hand? Bigger problem is that what they are saying is being taken as a gospel.

Was Montpellier though, never played for Lens.
-
I really don't see that as an attitude problem though, he was surprised he was excluded from the match day squad with two weeks of the window left. Can't remember any problems to be honest unless the papers saying he owns an expensive car is a problem. Wages make it extremely unlikely though.
-
He earns twice what Bruno earns. Wouldn't mind him as a last option on loan if Chelsea are willing to pay at least half of his wages but I can't see them doing that to a straight rival.
-
Alright. How is Yanga-Mbiwa winning Ligue 1 a decade ago relevant to NUFC potentially signing Tapsoba from Leverkusen in 2024?
-
Never played in Bundesliga. Thanks for your input!
-
Had won Bundesliga three months ago.

Badiashile and Disasi are/were ~£40m players though. It was a weird choice considering his career, no doubts about that.
-
Price seems really low too, must explain the clause.
-
Great comparison with Ndiweni. Never heard of him and somehow he is valued at £20m while we are giving away our youngsters. Such a long way to go to be on the same line as the big 6. Skipp was basically Spurs’ version of Hayden and they banked £20-25m for him.

But we are stronger than the team that finished 4th in 22/23. I've seen some smart people mention us right after Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool and that's how I see it myself. If we can stay relatively fit for the season I'll be disappointed if we don't finish at least close to 4th or 5th and that final CL spot. Lack of Europe is a real edge on the league standings although you always want to be there.

Bowen turns 28 soon, no way we would be spending that kind of money without guaranteed resale value.
-
Absolutely stupid editing but I can quite confidently say nothing good.

I still think it was Poch who walked.

Come on Kaka, you so often attack against hyperbole and then post stuff like this.
