  1. I have an issue with you.
  2. It did work last season, problem are the injuries this season. You can't play two games a week with that intensity without being able to do any rotation. Agree that we need a creative player though but more for home games.
  3. Middle of the goal, Pope saves that.
  4. Trippier having his Thiago Silva moment.
  5. Looked like a tactical decision to slow down the tempo and preserve energy by just keeping possession. We were way more passive than usually both on and off the ball.
  6. Looked like both Everton players were faking a head injury. Saw absolutely nothing touching Braithwaite’s head.
  7. At least the last match was on Saturday and this on Thursday. More worried about the energy levels on the next two games which come fast.
  8. For a change they actually should’ve won by more than one goal, Chelsea were garbage.
  9. Nah, you’re still shite but glad there’s a good performance once in a while.
  10. That was the best I’ve seen you play for a long time.
  11. A reminder - you tell us this every week.
  12. Was just about to post this, I'm certain they despised him a couple of years ago. Calm and composed finish.

I honestly don't think it would be that bad for a six month deal and wouldn't cause turmoil in the dressing room due to the emergency nature of it. I don't really care if Dubravka, Karius or Gillespie are pissed about it, Dubs already had his moment when he wanted to leave to Man Utd and the others never expect to see any match action outside of the bench.

If he wants to play, I could see him signing for something like £150k a week which wouldn't be that bad for half a season. He's only 33, having a good half season with us would help him to get another multi-year contract somewhere. Everything obviously depends on his motivation, he's set for life and could easily just retire but if he still has the hunger, a smaller wage with a top team like us would make a ton of sense for both us and him. IMO the fact that he hasn't signed a big money deal to some Saudi team indicates that he's been waiting for an opening somewhere and still wants to play at high level (or he's just ready to retire ). I'm alright giving Dubravka games now to show he can be relied upon but if he's shaky DDG would be a perfect short term solution without having to pay a fee and him failing to get a new deal anywhere works in our favour on his wage demands. @Froggy still rated him during last season IIRC.

Dubravka is a decent backup for emergencies, not so sure if he's good enough to be the keeper for a a team with top 4 aspirations for 5 months.

I don't think there's any way Arsenal loan us a keeper.

Signing De Gea until the end of the season seems like a no-brainer if he would come. He's still a great shot stopper and he isn't any worse on the ball than Pope, few months younger than Dubravka too.
  18. Emerson Royal as a CB against Haaland, Porro vs Doku. Nee way Spurs get anything from this.
  19. That's just how the rules are, play is dead as Pawson thought it was a pen and VAR can't give Brighton the corner.
  20. Technically play stops when it hits his head as Pawson thought it was a pen.
