Everyone needs a break from their job, both physically and mentally. He didn't play in Germany but you can't exactly call it a holiday, especially mentally.

Absolutely, hard to understand how VAR let's that go. Isak is about to shoot and Dragusin takes away his standing leg.

He's still Northern Ireland international and was one of their better players in the last qualifiers against Finland. Don't think he gets this move if he was English tbh.

Yeah, thought we defended well. Spurs had possession and ton of shots but most were outside of the box. First half was alright but the first thirty minutes of the second half were shocking and Howe probably should have reacted before the goal considering we had a strong bench. Glad we have a break now and get Schär back, should help our play in possession a lot with Tonali hopefully getting starts in the league too.

Couple of iffy moments but a colossus once again and probably MOTM.

It honestly seems like he’s sulking, really hope it’s just a fitness issue and he thinks about saving energy in some spots but this isn’t the same Gordon from last season. Never seems to smile anymore either.

Thought Joelinton has had a good game bar the couple over the top challenges and bad positioning while at left back.

I’ve always laughed at body language experts but he seems to lack some enthusiasm and emotion compared to last season, never smiles either.

Defended really well, Spurs had attempts but nothing dangerous. Good half overall and we have an actual bench to freshen things up.

Thought Rice was subtle enough that he wouldn't get the second yellow if Veltman was just standing there.

Yeah, think Rice gets away from that if Veltman wasn't swinging his leg and I believe Veltman knew what he was doing.

I like him as a player.
