Yeah, Miggy might never go past a player but he's good at retaining possession. I also don't really get the general hysteria, 4 points from 6 isn't bad when one game was mostly played with 10 and Bournemouth has been a tough place for us. I've only read the match thread until HT but we had a decent first 15 minutes and a decent last 30 against Bournemouth, it's not like we were hammered all match.

This Chelsea thing is really interesting, we can see if the PSR bullshit lasts when they would be forced to give points deductions to Chelsea (and potentially Man City). It's easy to give them to Everton and Nottingham but what happens when the fans of big clubs get pissed off and PL starts to lose it standing internationally. Yeah, Chelsea sell kids but there's no way they are below the limits and selling the hotels and women's team are already shady as fuck.

Don't think it's just the subs that changed the game. It's natural that the leading team drops down a bit deeper and are conceding possession more easily instead of taking risks. Amazing to have some serious options on the bench though after the struggles of last season.

Hall did well today but I have serious doubts that he could have handled Semenyo all match. Nice to have two different options now and Hall’s strengths are really good and promising.

Amazing that he’s already getting written off by some after 90 minutes. Wasn’t really good or bad today, just meh. Semenyo is really good though and I’m certain the tone on Hall’s thread would be a lot different if he was asked to deal with him alone today.
