  1. Only good thing is that VAR might bring some consistency but it's still a joke that whether you get it or not depends on the referee's individual view about what is a handball.
  2. I would honestly sack Tuchel, that was a disgraceful and arrogant performance. I imagine Cavani could have played more than 3 minutes if he was on the bench.
  3. Yep. His arm’s in an unnatural decision and it hits it. People will use it as a reason to have another pop at VAR but it’s the correct decision. What's unnatural about the arm? The problem is that football has been played for over a century yet no one knows for sure what a handball really is.
  4. Somebody at FIFA has to decide what a handball is
  5. Shelvey puts the team under enormous pressure when his every second touch is an attempted 50 yard Hollywood pass. They are great when they succeed but every time the pass doesn't come off, rest of the team have to work hard just to get the ball back. He has immense talent but I really hate his decision making.

Nah, nothing has to change regarding that. Ref can still book players trying to break the momentum by wasting time.

Might as well split it into 3x 20min periods and have adverts in the stoppages if you go that far no thanks Alright, tell me one negative about the 2x30min game.

After VAR gets implemented, I hope the next step is a 60 minute game with clock that stops. Would probably make games quicker but add real playing time, end some of the rolling around/time wasting and end controversies like this. Would also be easy to implement on every level of the game as some people think that's important.
  9. I mean it would never go through his hands if he wasn't fouled.
  10. Agree with this. He looked assured bar the odd time he came for it and then backtracked. Handling was really good. Then that in the 95th minute. He’s trying to relieve the pressure. They were getting a flurry of corners and crosses in, he’d been taking everything. If he’s not fouled he’s catches it, falls on top of the ball, launches it and it’s game over. Wasn't a foul though. Should have been though. If we're 1-0 down in the 95th minute and that happens down the other end of the pitch with Rondon and the goal gets disallowed everyone would be up in arms and saying it's a perfectly legitimate goal, which it was. If that happens down the other end, the foul WOULD be given. I don't think so. There's not a foul there to give. He gets up earlier than Dubravka and the Keeper makes a poor decision to try to catch it under pressure and is beaten to the ball. He's beaten to the ball because it goes through his hands due to Boly hitting his right arm and then leaving it on his face.
  11. Like f***. All the talk is about how s**** we've been in the second half, Rafa not being brave enough to start Almiron, and how those get called a foul 99% of the time. Your the snowflake who said almiron wouldn't come on. *You're, Almiron
