  1. I'm pleased with that run in, not jut for us, but for the other two teams. Only a minimal of "easier" games. (For them.)
  2. Had SBR stayed on for longer, I have no doubt he would have been treated the same way.
  3. A total waste of money....will be gone in July. It doesn't help when he's being played as a CM and a deep lying one at that yesterday. He should ave been playing where Perez was and Perez on the bench with Shelvey in the middle. Also the police presence yestday was way over the top like, not one incident from what I gather. I was sat in the home end and jumped up and cheered when we scored, and no one said anything other than to laugh when it was ruled out. Did anyone see that car at the round about that was smashed up just take off with police on foot chasing him and the cop cars just sat there doing nothing? Also walked past the legendary Paully who was stood at a burger van with some lasses. Again shit match, but we had a great day and night. Didn't get into the hotel til 2. Now the long drive back to Newcastle from Redditch....
  4. Not as gambling, but for matched betting. I use Smarkets more frequently as it's only 2% commision.
  5. Yeah, I can see how you're better placed to have judged that than Rafa. So you can not have a opinion one here any more? We have to be allowed to ask questions like. We are not exactly playing any good football at the moment. I trust Rafa, but we have to be allowed to question some of his decisions. You're certainly entitled to have an opinion. But if you are going to declare a decision as "shit" when you've only being listening to the match, then you need your head banged against the wall as that method of forming an opinion is, frankly, shit. Then what is fucking point of this thread then? Shall we just wait for all the fans who watched the match to come on and give their opinions. You are an absolute hypocrite. Yeah, let's just spout everything and anything just because it will make some little boys feel better. Pathetic.

Yup, way to go mate Okay then...
  7. I respectfully disagree. If that is the case and we are promoted we're totally fucked next season without major surgery to the squad. I agree.

  9. He's getting pretty much the max out of the squad available. Those people that are moaning their heads off are probably the same people who were at the start of the season predicting something ridiculous like remaining the whole season unbeaten, Mitrovic raping the league, blah blah blah! They clearly misjudged the league due to their lack of knowledge about it. He's doing the job expected, imo.
  10. Yeah, I can see how you're better placed to have judged that than Rafa.
  11. I had £1 on WBA, Leicester and Villa at 40/1. I had to cash it out at £37 towards the end there! I also had an accumulator at 52/1 - I cashed it out for £7 as I knew NUFC were not going to win even though I have no idea what happened in the match! (Yes, they were the only ones to let me down.)
  12. Getting booed by your own fans didn't help!
  13. Does that mean fans are talking nonsense, then? Fair play to Keane for saying what needed to be said, to be honest. Too many pundits out there have too many connections and therefore too worried about saying something that might bounce back on them. (The other night Dixon described Vardy's reaction as "cute", but Keane said it how it should have been said: "a form of cheating". Dixon grew some balls, changed his mind and then agreed with Keane.)
  14. I understand how you feel - none of us want to leave SJP - but if the club was to have any hope of matching the PLs top sides we need a bigger stadium when the time is right. I certainly WOULDN'T want to stay at SJP if it meant capacity limited to 30,000...its small club thinking. Arsenal had to move from Highbury and that must have been just as much a wrench for their fans too. Juve downgraded.
  15. Not sure a dislike of Huddersfield means you prefer to see clubs become like Chelsea and Man City I don't have a problem with smaller clubs building their way to the elite league. At least they're doing it the right way. I also don't mind seeing new clubs reach the PL. Are they doing it the right way? 5 of of their key players are on loan (4 from Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City). And? Young players need to play somewhere.
  16. And why the "middle ground" clubs any better? I bet we can find "faults" with pretty much every club today.
  17. Factually - most teams tend to get more points and score more goals at home rather than away. ET is nearly always shit too. It gets nervous and cagey. Can't remember the last enjoyable ET as a neutral besides goals (if that makes sense?). One team nearly always wants pena's, often both settle for pena's too. The 2 Real - Atleti finals. The first time Atletico's legs went. The second both equally tired and happy enough for ET. Euros final - dull as fuck until the goal... then dull again. Portugal happy to string the game along for most of it. Even great games like Istanbul - crap extra time. ET needs scrapping, it's mostly shit. Just makes players tired for penalties or a scrappy goal is scored or mistake is made. Everyone shit scared to make the mistakes too. I never said it wasn't. I simply stated that it's over played. I didn't bother to read the rest of your post.

  19. Personally, I think the "advantage" and "disadvantage" of home and away matches are over played anyway.
  20. It's ronaldo, what do you expect?
  21. Good luck to Huddersfield - they play the football the right way and have got a manager who has a least showed some loyalty and trust in the project that they're doing. (And who's also a major contributor to it.) Unless you prefer to see clubs become like Chelsea and City and automatically have cuntish fans. (Chelsea always, tbf.)
