i didn't see that because it was highlighted in blue, don't normally bother with those bits on Twitter. Anyhow, still don't see anything too much wrong with it. Yes, usually taking a dig in public against your manager or board is not a good idea..... but this board are hardly the Arsenal or Man Utd board? The fact that they got us relegated and, overall, have done a shit job, not to mention lie and mislead the fans, I'm happy to see someone, whether it's us or some of the players, criticise the shit out of them. It's nothing more than they deserve. Plus, Joey is off anyway, so might as well see someone tell it as it is? Or are you happy for those clowns to dictate our club as they please without even a hint of their vision explained to the fans?

take it back! I knew I should of gone with fecking Ameobi... You SHOULD go for Ameobi!

You don't criticise your boss' decision in public. It's completely unacceptable for someone like Barton to do it. I said it a few months back but he started to mouth off as soon as people started to acknowledge the good season he was having. Just shut the fuck up and play, you tit. You've had one good season in four and suddenly you think you're the fan's spokesman? He's an idiot who's too far up his own ass to realise that there is no such thing as being a hero in football. Players who mark themselves out from the rest on the pitch and who create the best memories will be loved by fans. Everyone else is forgotten with time. He'll be forgotten, and probably quickly too since he's not even close to earning his wages over the past four years, let alone the £5.8m we paid for him. I haven't forgotten the extra £0.3m that we had to pay because he wouldn't give up his loyalty bonus, either (and that kind of behaviour is certainly ringing a lot of bells). Since when was that a criticism? All he said was that he'll miss a good friend and a good player. You should find yourself a job in The Sun somewhere.... I think you would get in.

I've heard it all now. Well - it makes sense. Some people said we'll play a more free fluid style of football when Shearer retires!
-
Don't see anything wrong whatsoever with what he tweeted.
-
We better replace him with similliar or better quality. Will be gutted to see him go.

What does Nolan offer that Gardner doesn't? Goals? Leadership? Influence? Experience? Quack celebration? Nolan is much more important to us than Gardner would be next season, imo.
-
Just got in and heard the Nolan news! FOR FUCKS SAKE!!

i'd rather have nolan than bloody gardner or ireland.

I'd rather listen to Shearer the pundit, not because he's a good....... it's because are the rest are also crap and boring. So what difference would Shearer leaving MOTD make? It will still be the same old boring show. I thought Shearer was a much better pundit when he was on Sky actually. Maybe because they, unlike MOTD, can actually start a decent debate or two.

He'll do a good job.

just wanted to say that... I fucking love Newcastle United, I do!!
-
I read the 2nd quote as him! don't know why!
-
So does anyone actually want to sign Enrique? Yes, it seems like he dosen't want to sign a new contract, but it also looks like no one is prepared to come in for him either.
-
I'd have respected him a lot more if he'd rolled his sleeves up and got on with the job at Newcastle but it seems we couldn't afford him once we went down. Wasn't it one of the other Championship chairmen who said Ashley had told them that their whole squad cost less than Shearer salary wise? Ashley talks a lot of shit and only idiots would believe him or trust him.
-
Won't laugh too much though...... I know Gullit's cousin (former player) and he's ok.
-
 Rob Lee would have loved to see that happen!
-
I remember people lambasting Hughton's ability when he first took over as a caretaker manager.
-
I can see his contacts in the football world playing a vital part tbh.
