His behaviour has had several public reprimands by Pardew, Nolan, Barton and Lovenkrands yet still acts like a knob. If anything, he's had everything on a plate by the club and he's blown it.

Long is a decent player, played a bit in the PL if I recall. However, it would still be dissapointing if we're to get him instead of Gameiro or Gervinho.

How is he better? Enrique's a better left back then Zog is a winger. Its pretty hard to compare them directly obviously as they have very different jobs. I just think that Enrique is among the top few players in his position in the league, while IMO Zog isn't. I rate Cole, Evra, Clichy, Baines and Kolorov as all being better than Enrique. How many right wingers are better than N'Zogbia because I think he could get in at Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in that position. I've always been a fan of Enrique's but the one thing that will put the top clubs off him is his lack of ability going forward, which is what they look for in their fullbacks since they spend most of their time on the front foot.

but not likewise for rooney, imo. Even when rooney was banging them in couple of seasons ago, it was down to him playing more centraly..... and that was Capello's idea not SAF's!
