He was on Talksport this morning saying how he is rooting for Bayern in the final. He said Tottenham would be too, then dropped in that Arsenal aren't away from us yet either. 3rd place here we come!

Not sure who I want to win now, probably Real as they don't have the suspensions for the final.

Will we qualify for the Champions League? Sadly not...

Are there many Real/Bayern players on a yellow and in danger of missing the final? -

I am certainly not going to be upset if we make it, but I can't help but feel it may be too soon for us to be in the CL yet. Having to go through the qualifiers could really screw up the summer transfers. I am sure we have plans in place for who we had expected to go for but if we have the chance of CL these plans may be at best, put on ice, leaving with late signings, missing pre season and possibly missing out on the players we have earmarked as someone else snaps them up Also, if we do make it in, the players, especially any new signings, will be much more likely to leave next summer if we don't repeat the feat and get in every year. I am over the moon that we have Europe to look forward to next season and I will not be turning my nose up if it is 'only' the Europe League. -
The sound after that goal, I still think its the loudest crowd I have ever been in.

So out of every single British player over 23 she selects Catts, and Craig Gordon 'narrowly misses out'

Was it really just last season we played that long run of games with Ameobi and Lovenkrands our only options? -

Wasn't that what caused the problem with Wolves ? Absolutley, I am just saying you can see how it should work in theory with the passing, pace and movement we have. -

I really hope we don't, but I can understand the temptation to sit back now and hit them on the break. -

Our home page on BBC Sport has the main article saying Martin Atkinson is the 4th official on Saturday. The picture is the "Ghost Goal" from the Chelsea Spurs game and it actually looks over the line. First I had seen from this angle. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/newcastle-united

Not a player, but Harry Redknapp. -
What's the "Right to Play" all about under the Chelsea numbers?

That was the end of last season so some quick maths makes this I think: 1 Manchester United 20 1522 2 Arsenal 20 1437 3 Chelsea 20 1388 4 Liverpool 20 1231 5 Aston Villa 20 1084 6 Tottenham Hotspur 20 1061 7 Everton 20 1018 8 Newcastle United 18 1002 9 Blackburn Rovers 18 967 10 West Ham United 17 880

Wikipedia isn't up to date but I am amazed Villa are ahead of Tottenham. We must be close to Everton now (first column is seasons) 1 Manchester United 19 1452 2 Arsenal 19 1379 3 Chelsea 19 1338 4 Liverpool 19 1189 5 Aston Villa 19 1051 6 Tottenham Hotspur 19 1006 7 Everton 19 978 8 Newcastle United 17 952 9 Blackburn Rovers 17 939 10 West Ham United 16 880

How close are we to Villa and Everton?

It has been great watching Liverpool struggle recently but they have an annoying habit of making a much bigger effort in the big games. I am bringing my daughter across for her first game so I just hope we get a goal at least. If we start well and have the confidence to go for it then it could be a memorable day.

Its a breach fair enough but you can't really lock people up for simply being in a city centre. Unless there was a further aggravating feature, bail would unlikely have been opposed. Well, I know you're the one who knows this stuff so I'll bow to your knowledge What I'm confused about is...the condition of the original bail was he was not to set foot in the city. But he broke this and therefore broke the bail conditions. But all the judge seems to have done is re-apply the same conditions. So I'm confused to the point of them in the first place. Seems he can just go back into town and he'll only go back to square one I'm missing something...I'm sure As Otter says, he has done nothing wrong bar being in the exclusion zone as set by his bail. Bail conditions are there to lessen the likelihood of a repeat of the same offence, so Police have an immediate power of arrest before he gets close to another fight or whatever. Whilst there appears to be no punishment for the breach, it is something which will be considered at his court date.

The fact he has had a defib on from very early on and constant CPR means he has a strong chance still, the sooner the defib is applied the better the chance, once it goes beyond ten minutes or so without that chances plummet drastically unfortunately.
