I'm against the calls for Pardew to go, mainly because of fear of who we will end up with. However, if he panics early on and changes systems to suit Wigan's formation, like he did last year then I will be getting very close to joining the calls for him to go. It's time to stop worrying so much about the opposition and give them problems to consider instead.

That's a bit silly. It's time to say play on until the ball is out of play or the ref blows to say someone needs treatment. If one side 'deserve' the ball back it should be a free kick to them.

Would be lovely to sign that sort of player but it would definitely mean either a change in tactics and formation, a sale of a 'purple' player or two, or both. If we were to switch to a "Chelsea" style formation, selling Ba, and having Cisse up front alone, with Ben Arfa, Sulejmani and A N Other behind him with then two DMs it could work, but were does that leave Cabaye?
