Burnley manager, never played for us did he? Micky Quinn was interviewing him on Talksport yesterday following Cole's first hatrick in 7 years or so. Near the end of the interview Quinn said Coyle was with him up at Newcastle for a while. Completely passed me by if he was. And if I am wrong, any other players that have played for us that you had completely forgot about? Just thinking mind, if you have forgot about them, how are you going to name them!!! :-[

Which reminds me, my dad just can't get his head around N'Zogbia and always ends up calling him Zongbia or something similar. Anyone else got players whose names always come out as something else?

I don't see how a move now would benefit Owen. No one is going to come close to his wages here, and I can't see any clubs that might want him making him anymore attractive to England than he is here. At least now under Keegan the team are likely to be playing to his strengths, so to me he needs to choose either fight for his place again and prove his worth, or just accept mediocrity.

Doing it very quickly (and for some reason missing a spurs v chelsea somewhere) I had us finishing 12th on 47, 2 behind Tottenham and 15! clear of Boro and the Mackems in 13th/14th. Not suprisingly I had Reading, Fulham and Derby down with United pipping Arsenal on goal difference, both on 90, and Chelsea and Man City top 4.
