It must have changed since I last went down, walking from the tube to the ground was a bit dodgy. Don't get me wrong, it's a shithole, I think the meaningless game and the lush day made it a bit better, we were a bit worried about wearing our colours (did it anyway) but we went in the first pub off the tube and apart from 30 seconds where it suddenly looked like it was going to kick off outside for some reason, we mingled with the West Ham fans and it was fine.

I was expecting Upton Park to be in quite a rough, built-up, intimidating area but with all the cafes, souvenir stalls and those castles on the front, it was more like a day at the zoo.

Hleb's had a good season but Young's product is what wins it for him. It's not all about statistics but Young's whopping 17 assists and 7 goals is much better than Hleb's 7 and 2. I think Young's a fantastic player.
