He always wins the vast majority of the games in September/October. Starts badly, wins every game for two months then wins two games between December and May. Like clockwork.

We started similar last time. 12 games in we'd won 6, drawn 3, lost 3. Chances are we're going to have more points at the same stage this season as that one. Don't think that's quite right. According to the archive on .com, after 12 games in the 2009-10 promotion season we'd won 7, drawn 3, lost 2, and were top with 24 points. And we only lost 2 more games the whole season. In the context of the game, that was a piss poor result. Two points dropped. When we came up last time, it was often commented on early in the season that the main difference between us and the rest of the division was the quality of our finishing. We need to see a drastic improvement if we're not going to chuck points like this away.
