What a fucking strike.

Offering absolutely nowt going forward so far.

Newcastle: P76 W26 D12 L38 F88 A127 GD -39 Points 90 Everton: P72 W21 W25 L26 F101 A98 GD +3 Points 88 Not terribly different actually, we had slightly more wins but way more defeats (obviously this is with 4 games left of Everton's season). The GD is the really massive difference.

Huge similarities as well given that they both finished 5th then dropped off a cliff. I bet Martinez' two seasons after coming 5th are miles better than Pardew's. In fact I'm going to have a look.

So glad I wasn't watching.

You accused the victim/complainant of being after a "payday". Where is this money coming from?
-
Ah yes, another woman getting herself into that lucrative rape game. I hear that 17 of the 50 richest women in Britain are sexual assault victims.
-
The 'ultras' group is about two dozen blokes stood right next to the microphones as well. Never heard so much as a peep out of them when we rolled them over there in the Championship.
-
Bit rich coming from us given that appears we'll still be doing the 17 minute thing every game in 25 years time.
-
Well and truly got his number.

NUFC came out and said they didn't want to qualify for Europe, or have a cup run. What was the manager (Pardew or any other) supposed to do with that? The first person to ever say anything about not wanting to qualify for Europe was Pardew, after the Arsenal game at the end of 12-13.

I totally disagree, the damage done to the club in terms of supporter apathy during that time was absolutely enormous.
-
Presumably there aren't any libel laws concerning a group of people which is how they've gotten away with it.
-
Malmo game tonight was abandoned - fans threw a firework at one of the subs so he picked up the corner flag and threw it at them like a javelin.

Barca got knocked out this season by a side who had 23% possession. They did but it wasn't 4-0 and Atletico didn't have far more shots on goal than them. There's a difference between a dogged defensive display and what Leicester often do, which is dominate all the important attacking statistics without having most of the ball. It's extremely impressive.

Times as well, who then changed it for a second edition. One of their writers, Tony Barrett, seemed extremely unhappy about it on Twitter.

They've turned off the paywall now, presumably for exactly that reason.

Is it? Genuine question. Obviously there's going to be one or two, but as NJS implies, you can't just say there were 'loads' without a source and use that as some sort of excuse to point blame at the fans, unless it's an extremely large scale issue. It's similar to when the police tried to use alcohol as an excuse - yes you're going to have drunk people at a football match. How many of us that have travelled away can claim we've never gone into a ground at least fairly pissed? A minority I would imagine, but that's not the same as saying that if we'd been crushed to death at any of those matches, it would have been our fault. The police know some people at a football match will be drunk. It's part of the reason they are there, and they're supposed to deal with the issue in a sensible and fair manner. That goes for football matches in the same way it goes for concert, festivals, whatever. Thought the point in the David Conn article in the Guardian about local bins being half full, and mainly containing empty cans of Vimto was very pertinent.

Utterly detest that piece of shit.

Well if you will ask daft questions.
