  1. Free fiver on 365. Get your slips on about 4 hours before the game kicks off and the site falls over.
  2. Did you get on it? Wasn't bloody watching properly and it flashed up on my phone, I thought of course ffs.
  3. I've got Roma win on there so the bet is identical in practice (i.e. if there are 2+ goals in the game for both teams combined and Roma have won, then they have to have scored twice). There's often a slight price difference though so I always check both if I'm putting on a team to win and score twice.
  4. Went to put this builder on earlier, then cleared it, then put it together again but in a different order.

I hate it when everyone does those results calculators towards the end of a season. "Pretty sure we'll go down as I went through all the fixtures of the bottom 6 and we get X points, Leeds get y points..." Mate if you could predict even a quarter of those results correctly you could put a tenner on it and never have to work again but you know full well you can't, so stop doing the football equivalent of trying to interpret your dreams.
  6. Needed 2 cards each at St Johnstone for a 14/1 winner, geezer scores in the last minute, shirt comes off and it appears the ref never booked him, even Sky's stats said 1-2, card not showing up anywhere. Luckily 365 paid out so I've withdrawn before they pinch it back.
  7. Think they built up quite a rivalry in the several seasons they were both trying to get out of the Championship.
  8. "How can it be the manager's fault when he's not on the pitch?"
  9. Prices for the likely suspects definitely starting to shorten now. Best for tonight: Obed Vargas (Seattle) - 5 cards in 6 starts - 15/4 Sega Coulibaly (LA Galaxy) - 5 in 9 - 5/1 Santiago Rodriguez (NYCFC) - 4 in 10 - 15/4 Jordy Alcivar (Charlotte) - 4 in 7 - 4/1 Brandt Bronico (Charlotte) - 4 in 11 - 4/1 Best refs are at Montreal and Miami.
  10. I'll have a look in a bit. Had 3 trebles overnight hit the post with 2/3. Before that there are 3 massive relegation clashes in Spain at 7pm and then 2 in Italy at 8. Refs with big averages in all 5 games.
  11. Didn't realise Milan were at Sassuolo, blimey that is a tricky fixture.
  12. Pisses me off that you can't do the latter on 365.
  13. They didn't have time to kick the ball out, Neale Barry awarded them a penalty within about 5 seconds of the tackle.
  14. Amazing how quickly things spread like a contagion through football crowds. As I said the other day, pitch invasions have been happening for years largely without incident, one thing happens and then it suddenly happens every time. Remember 6 months ago when people in every crowd kept dying because of the vaccine and the fans demanded every game got stopped for 20 minutes to carry the Pfizered bodies out? Yeah folk got bored of that.
  15. More bother after a pitch invasion at Port Vale, could see several Swindon players grappling with fans.
  16. Like people stood recording penalties. I reckon Sky Sports will probably have a better angle lads.
  17. No way are Leeds winning at Brentford like, just don't see it sadly, the way Bees have been playing.
  18. The bigger the game, the more the refs seem to see it as their duty not to ruin the game by having to send someone off for two niggly yellows so they just let absolutely everything go until at least half time.

    Football pet hates

European finals were always on a Wednesday until they moved the CL about 10 years ago.
  20. In fairness I'd be frozen rigid with nerves if we were in a European final.
  21. 365 offering a boost on Tavernier 10/1 anytime. Top scorer in the competition and takes all the pens and free kicks.
  22. Fuck's sake, was playing to have a few of my MLS fancies doubled/trebled with Hawkins later but hadn't got round to it. Someone's noticed and he's now 11/5 with 365, 17/10 with PP/Betfair. At least I've got the 8/1 single on, no doubt he'll try and cripple someone and get a ticking off like he did last week. If anyone's interested, these well-priced players should all be playing tonight and have all already served their first 5 card suspension in a season that's only 11 games old. Mamadou Mbacke Fall (LA FC) 6/1 Will Trapp (Minnesota) 4/1 Christian Casseres (NYRB) 15/4 Prices all with 365, much shorter elsewhere. Might be worth attempting some trebles in the DC/NYC game as well, ref has done 9 games this season with a 6.8 card average.
  23. Here's Man City doing it for their League 1 play off semi final in 1999: Here's Rushden and Diamonds doing it after their L2 semi vs Rochdale in 2002 (if you put into Youtube any particular year and 'play off semi' you'll find one from a random game): You probably just weren't watching these games. Most sides who win the play off semi at home see a pitch invasion, has always been the case.
